But now you can see my wings.

I am an Angel, I have always been,

But now you can see my wings.

I am an Angel, I have always been,

But now you can hear me sing.

I am an Angel, I have always been,

But now you can truly understand,

That being an Angel goes beyond being a mortal man.

It goes to the heart of all you know and reaches out with kindness.

It fills the caverns of the unknown,

Without boundaries and blindness.

It sings songs of peace in war,

And songs of joy in sorrow.

It moves through closed doors,

Bringing light of each tomorrow.

It is not concerned with your mistakes,

But what you strive to do

It knows in God’s eyes all are great,

The many and the few.

It lifts the burdens, and calms the hurried,

Ands springs into action when needed.

It leaves no ego debt behind rankled and conceited.

It stretches out beyond the possible

Extended love and peace to the vulnerable

It is what we all are, what we all can come to know

It is why we are here, all Angels in God’s Glow.
