Noted playwright, poet and novelist, Ntozake Shange died on Saturday morning. The news was announced via Shange’s official Twitter account. She was 70.
According to The Star Tribune, Shange had suffered multiple strokes in recent years, but her health was improving. She died peacefully in her sleep in an assisted living facility in Bowie, Md.
Shange was born Paulette L. Williams in Trenton, New Jersey on October 18, 1948. Her family was an advocate of the arts and their home welcomed legendary figures in black history including Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, Chuck Berry, and W.E.B. Du Bois. Shange took an interest in poetry. When she graduated from high school, she went on to study at Barnard College in New York City. It was there where she met fellow poet Thulani Davis, who she would collaborate with on various works. After graduating from Barnard, she traveled west to USC and earned a masters degree.
In 1975, she returned to New York City from Los Angeles and in the same year, for colored girls who have considered suicide / when the rainbow is enuf came to light. The play was a 20-part choreopoem that explored the lives of women of color in the United States. It was first produced Off-Broadway and then made its way to Broadway’s Booth Theater. The play became an acclaimed hit, earning an Obie Award and other accolades.
The play was adapted into a book in 1977 and then into the Tyler Perry film For Colored Girls which featured an all-star cast of black actresses including Janet Jackson, Loretta Devine, Thandie Newton, Anika Noni Rose, Kerry Washington, Phylicia Rashad, Whoopi Goldberg, and Tessa Thompson.
Like For Colored Girls, Shange’s other plays such as Spell No. 7 chronicled the black experience. In 1980, she adapted Bertolt Brecht’s Mother Courage and Her Children which earned her another Obie Award.
Shange was also known as a primary figure in the Black Arts Movement, which was predominantly male. She was a pioneering figure and female trailblazer alongside notable figures from the movement and history including Gwendolyn Brooks, Nikki Giovanni, Rosa Guy, Lorraine Hansberry, Lucille Clifton, and Sonia Sanchez.

Bolivia’s Plurinational Constitutional Court (TCP) ruled in favor of the indefinite re-election of national and subnational authorities on November 28, a decision which enables President Evo Morales to stand again in 2019.
LA PAZ.–The Plenary Chamber of the Plurinational Constitutional Court (TCP) ruled on November 28, in the city of Sucre, in favor of the indefinite re-election of national and subnational authorities. This enables President Evo Morales to be a candidate in the 2019 general elections, teleSUR reported.
The members of the TCP unanimously ruled that the right to run for office supersedes limits on re-election imposed by Bolivia’s constitution, citing the American Convention on Human Rights. Thus candidates who have already served two terms are now authorized for re-nomination for the general elections scheduled for the end of 2019, and the subnational, or regional elections to be held mid-2020, to elect the president, vice president, 154 legislators, nine governors, 339 mayors and 3,500 councilors, as reported by ABI.
The TCP approved an abstract judicial review request, filed September 18 by Nélida Sifuentes, Movement Toward Socialism (MAS) Senator, along with other government and opposition legislators.
In this regard, Bolivian President Evo Morales stated November 29 that the approval of the abstract review presented by MAS to allow the re-nomination of the country’s authorities guarantees the continuity of democracy, sovereignty and dignity, PL reported.
During a press conference at the Palace of Government, the President thanked social movements and the over 30 organizations which had presented their support for the appeal before the TCP ruling.
“This ruling is based on the constitution and international law, I appreciate so many spontaneous mobilizations,” noted Morales.
He recalled that the appeal for an abstract review requested that the TCP declare the unconstitutionality of five articles of the Electoral Law and the inapplicability of four other articles of the Political Constitution of the State regarding re-election limits in elections for the president, vice-president, governors, departmental assembly members, mayors and councilors.
“The Bolivian people are wise, they were not wrong and the national authorities will be able to run again in the 2019 elections to continue working for equality,” Morales stressed.
This request was one of the four routes approved by the MAS Congress on this issue, Morales also recalled on his Twitter account @evoespueblo.
“One of the constitutional means suggested by social movements last December has been recognized: we are authorized so that the vote of the people decides whether they give us their support for a new term. The Democratic and Cultural Revolution continues. Ever onward to victory!” the President tweeted.
The other options were: a reform of Article 168 of the Constitution, approved by the Plurinational Legislative Assembly and supported by at least 20% of the electorate; or by means of a law adopted in the Parliament by two thirds of members; while the third option was the possibility that the head of state resign six months before the end of his term, which concludes January 22, 2020, to present his candidacy for new elections.
The Bolivian leader also highlighted the profound changes made during the last decade in the country, which went from last to first in terms of economic growth in South America.
“What is happening in Bolivia is unprecedented,” the President recalled during an act held in the central department of Cochabamba.
He also stressed that the changes in the country are the result of the struggle and unity of the people.
When we arrived to government in 2006, Bolivia was the slowest growing economy in South America, and the penultimate in Latin America, however, international organizations have reiterated that this year we will be the fastest growing economy in South America, Evo noted.
The President highlighted the successes of the economic model following the nationalization of natural resources and strategic companies.
In 20 years of neoliberalism (1985-2005) the Gross Domestic Product rose from five to nine billion dollars, however, in the last decade it reached 36 billion, he emphasized.
Morales also referred to the 4th Gas Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum, held last week in the city of Santa Cruz, with the participation of representatives of 18 nations and major international companies.
“Just imagine, the biggest gas producers come to Bolivia to debate the policies to guarantee energy for the world,” he said, as quoted by PL.
In Russia, there are free speech zones, gays are persecuted, and speaking out against the state is often met with police brutality — just ask the activist band Pussy Riot. Vladimir Putin is no hero. That being said, however, on a larger scale, Putin is not attempting to build an empire, he is not destabilizing the Middle East and installing dictators, he’s not funding ISIS, and he tends to resist moves by the globalists that are harmful to the well-being of the Russian people and their money.
Saudi Arabia, on the other hand, is destabilizing the Middle East, they are funding terrorism, they are carrying out the wholesale slaughter of innocence and genocide in Yemen and when it comes to reporting on these crimes, corporate media at large is utterly and irresponsibly silent.
This irresponsible reporting by corporate media has led to a frenzy of disinformation filling the digital airwaves of entirely unprovable Russian collusion in the 2016 election. If the media was so hell-bent on ousting President Donald Trump’s corruption, why then are they only reporting on the non-existent evidence of Trump-Russia collusion while ignoring the mountain of evidence proving his collusion with the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world?
If corporate media were actually interested in exposing the alleged crimes of Trump, then why are they spending so much time faking headlines and lying about Russia when they could easily expose his ties to terrorists in Saudi Arabia?
Since Trump has gotten into office, he’s proven to America that he has no intention of making America great again. Every step forward he takes, like halting the flow of cash from the CIA to ISIS, he takes several more steps back.
His foreign policy, like that of his predecessors, does not fight terror. In fact, it does the opposite by creating blowback, thus ensuring the future and endless creation of terrorists for years to come.
Even if a smoking gun comes out and one day proves that Putin and Trump colluded to steal the election, would it really change anything?
Just like his predecessor, Barack Obama, and just like Clinton would’ve done, Trump cozied up to Saudi Arabia once he got elected and is carrying out the agenda of the neocon deep state dead set on provoking war.
To see how overt this Saudi Trump collusion actually is, we need only look at his stance on Saudi Arabia before he was elected.
While speaking with supporters at a campaign event in Bluffton, South Carolina in 2016, then-Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said if he is elected “you will find out who really knocked down the World Trade Center.”
Trump was referencing the fact 15 out of the 19 hijackers on 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia. He also, somehow, had knowledge of what was in the 28 pages that would be declassified a few months later in July.
Trump went on to say the government has “papers…that are very secret” which may implicate the Saudis.
Before he was elected, Americans did find out that the 28 pages proved the United States government knew the Saudi Arabian government had a hand in and supported the terrorists who carried out the attacks on 9/11 — and covered it up.
“You will find out,” Trump said.
However, after he was elected, the only thing we’ve found out from Trump in regard to Saudi terrorism is his unwavering and overtly nefarious love of the terrorist nation.
Speaking to the New York Times last year, as the Intercept notes, Trump claimed that, without U.S. support and protection, “Saudi Arabia wouldn’t exist for very long.” The real problem, he continued, was that the Saudis are “a money machine …and yet they don’t reimburse us the way we should be reimbursed.” Asked if he would be willing to “stop buying oil from the Saudis” if they refused to pull their weight, Trump responded: “Oh yeah, sure. I would do that.”
Not surprisingly—he didn’t do that.
After going from implicating them in the worst terror attack ever to take place on US soil, Donald Trump is now best buds with the terrorist regime in Saudi Arabia. In fact, in May, Trump “completed largest single arms deal in US history, negotiating a package totaling more than $109.7 billion.”
Tis quite amazing what being president of the United States can do to a person’s integrity. But those of us who’ve been paying attention saw this coming a mile away. Just like George W. Bush and Barack Obama did, Trump bowed down to his Saudi masters.
While he showed the opposite of collusion with Russia by recommending sanctions against them—a de facto act of war—his collusion with the Saudi regime first became evident during his travel ban earlier this year.
Out of the 43 people who carried out terrorist attacks on US soil, only three of them came from the seven countries on Trump’s list — the other 40 terrorists came from countries who were not banned.
This handful of attacks on American soil hardly justifies restricting the travel from these countries once we look at the countries Trump did not ban — which are responsible for 93% of all terrorism in the United States causing death on a massive scale, including Saudi Arabia.
The majority of the 40 terrorists were from Saudi Arabia, while the others were from Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Guinea.
As the Free Thought Project previously reported, during his campaign Trump registered eight companies tied to hotel interests in Saudi Arabia alone. And, in 2001, the alleged Saudi-hating Trump sold an entire floor of Trump Tower to the Saudis for $4.5 million.
Trump is openly showing favoritism toward, colluding with, has financial ties to, and sold billions in weapons to the terrorist nation of Saudi Arabia — yet the media still remains focused on unprovable Russian collusion. Make no mistake that this is deliberate.
While the media uses fairy tales of Russian election hacking to distract, Trump is proving to be just like all of his predecessors — fooling people into thinking he’s ‘MAGA’ while bowing down to the military-industrial complex. All the while, his ostensible resistance is rendered impotent by buying into lies deliberately devised to keep them from seeing the reality that he is no different than Obama or Clinton.
Okay, why does this feel like another distraction? Why does this feel like another bone for the so-called Truth Community to chew on? What are they hiding and why put this stuff out now?
Come on people, look at this with clear vision. Okay, I ain’t saying that I have the clearest vision in the world, but why this and why now?
Anyone who is bringing out information against anyone, and I do mean anyone, who has been performing pedophilia acts, raping women or abusing and killing children has been known for doing so for as long as they have been doing it. But nobody said anything all this time.
So my question remains, why now?
If anyone is coming forward they are certainly being supported and protected because they are exposing the big dogs, correct? Well, not really, cause Jeffrey Epstein only went to jail for a few months. Jeffrey was the ringleader conspirator for harboring young girls and carrying airplane loads of folks to his little island, how come them folks aren’t being outed? Has anyone seen that flight log?
Where are the people they have abused?
And Cosby, he goes out like a light… but back then we had tons and tons of folks defending Cosby. How come ain’t nobody defending these other folks? Why is this being allowed to happen?
Does the FBI need to finally do its job to gain the confidence of the American people after it has done a miserable job on the Las Vegas Event? Do they think that if they start “acting” like they know who these guys are and bring them to justice that, like a flip of a coin, they can augment and repair the serious damage they have done over the years and not just with Las Vegas.
Do they think that if they throw this bone at us, we will all shut up and go away?
Press For Truth is too optimistic, in my opinion. These folks are small fry, and they will throw these small folks into the fire to say the bigger dogs, who will remain unnamed, un-indicted, un-prosecuted and inconspicuous. As they remain so, they will just light the fire under other small fry, get them involved in these nefarious activities and when the time comes, burn them at the stake. They will be and have always been protected.
We can go after these pedophiles and rapists but first we must guard ourselves from these people. We must teach our children what is safe touch and what is not. We must teach them what really happens in Hollyweird and strongly encourage them to think twice before they go off to lala land. We must teach them the dangers of this behavior in closer proximity, like the home, the church, the mosque, the synagogue, the neighborhood school yard and classroom.
We must love our children enough to give them the real information they need so that they do not become cannon fodder for this perpetrators who care not about collateral damage. We must be with them as much as we possibly can, so we can watch over them. And those of us who have a problem and don’t know how to stay within boundaries in dealing with our children and the children of others, we need to go get help for our problem.
Destroying the youth of a generation, destroys the future of that generation and their progeny as well. The replication of these acts against our young people is heinous and horrific, but if we just spend time pointing fingers at the perpetrators and not look at what we are doing to create an environment where these perps can flourish we are missing a golden opportunity to change things.
Hanging one perp at a time, killing them off, banishing them, divesting them of their wealth, shaming them, etc., etc., etc. has some impact, but we really need to take it to the heart, and change how we view this world, what we allow our children and young people to do and be around, and become more responsible for their lives. It will take more than just some quality time, while driving our children to school or standing on the corner waiting for the school bus.. It will take more quality time then sitting on the bleachers at the game or in the audience at a recital.
It will take talking to them, one on one, spending weekends with them in the park, with no media, and explaining to them, having a conversation with them, about the hard cold facts of life.
We can no longer live in a bubble of fabricated trust that our teachers, preachers, politicians and entertainers, et al, are that concerned about our child’s mental and physical health, that they will guard themselves, restrain themselves and prevent themselves from harming our children. Obviously, with all that has come out, this is not the case.
All in all, i want to see the big smack down, only then will I be sure that things are really changing. Small fry roasts only serve to distract us from the real deal, and that’s the global network of child trafficking, abuse and sexual predation. When they connect the dots, and the big heads roll, then I will feel that a paradigm shift has really taken place and not just window dressing.

A former employee of George Soros has just been accused of brutally sexually assaulting three women, two of whom are former Playboy bunnies. Howard ‘Howie’ Rubin allegedly lured the woman into a Manhattan penthouse equipped with a sex dungeon as he tortured them with cow prods and raped them. In this video Dan Dicks of Press For Truth lays out the latest details in this horrific story as well as other cases now popping up in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
This is a very interesting commentary about the current “Uranium” expose’ that is going on now. It appears that this may be something that will bring Clinton and her backroom deals down, but as it is with all of these corrupt politicians, if one goes down they all go down. Pointing fingers as they drown in their own shenanigans unbeknown to the American tax payer, these people do it over and over again.
The idea that it can be sliced out and restored is almost comical because this corruption is like a cancer. Once the air hits it, it starts to spread, all over the place. It may seem to be in remission but given time it will resurface, especially this kind of cancer that has infiltrated the US government. This kind of cancer cannot be cured by slicing pieces of it off, or even radiation. It has metastasized and is beyond cure. The entire system needs to be gotten rid of and replaced.
As long as folks keep saying things like “Our Founding Fathers” and not mention that they were part of a secret society of Freemasons and look at how that plays into the establishment of this country, then they are going to be fooled into thinking there is a cure.
The ray of hope expressed in this video by Mr. Paine, reminds me of how we as a people, can delude ourselves into thinking that the office of the Presidency has more power than the Deep State/Shadow Government that made sure he got into the Office in the first place.
Mr. Paine offers a Utopian 12 steps that he believes will help bring the United States back to its original glory and purpose, but again, he fails to realize that the tentacles that run deep inside the US government, that is really a corporation, ran by a hidden hand that goes all the way back to Britain, which goes back to the Vatican.. which as far as I am concerned, goes off planet, but that’s another “conspiracy theory”.
Like those folks who believed Obama was a savior, we have folks who want to believe that Trump will be a savior. They close their eyes to what he has done to show the world that he is in lock step with the Globalists, whether he wants to be there or is forced to be there, his actions has him there.
This country cannot be fixed, it is too broken.
The information in this video is worth a listen, however. In these days and times we have to listen, explore and even expose ourselves to different points of view, nobody has the whole pie. We take what resonates and leave the rest.

Manhattan, NY — Tuesday afternoon, a suspect, identified as Sayfullo Habibullaevic Saipov, according to two law enforcement sources, rented a pickup truck, drove it onto a busy bicycle path and mowed down innocent people before getting out and brandishing toy guns. Almost immediately after the horrific attack that left 8 dead and a dozen more injured, video of Saipov, an Uzbekistan native, was released.
There were multiple videos, taken from multiple angles showing the attacker flee the truck and run through traffic.
From @marygeorgant on scene: Tawhid Kabir, 20, took this video on Snapchat of possible suspect in NYC existing truck
Police eventually caught Saipov, who they say is a “lone wolf” attacker. Nearly as fast as the video was released, so were the declarations that this attack was “an act of terrorism.”
“After he came to the United States is when he started to become informed about ISIS and radical Islamic tactics,” Gov. Cuomo said on CNN. “Again, ISIS has gotten it down to a simple formula that they can put on the internet and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to rent a car, rent a truck. But they are cowards and they are depraved.”
It is amazing how fast an investigation can go when the attacker is called a terrorist. If we contrast the tragic massacre in Las Vegas last month with this tragic attack in New York, a telling picture begins to appear.
Within only hours, all of Saipov’s travel history both inside and outside the United States was made public. We were informed that Saipov lived in an apartment in Paterson, New Jersey, with his wife, two young daughters and infant son. He moved there after stints in Ohio and Florida and when he came to the US from the Uzbeki capital of Tashkent in 2010, he settled in the Cincinnati area where he lived with a fellow Uzbeki family.
All this information was immediately released to the public without anyone demanding it. Contrast this with Vegas—as millions demand answers to very simple questions about Stephen Paddock—and it is the exact opposite.
It took close to a week to learn that Stephen Paddock allegedly traveled outside of the United States. In fact, it hasn’t been ‘officially’ released at all. We were simply told by CNN, through a confidential law enforcement source that Paddock took several cruises that included stops at ports in Spain, Italy, Greece, Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.
As the investigation into the New York act of terror shows us, it is quite easy to find out where people travel to and from inside and outside of the US. Why haven’t we been told exactly where Paddock has traveled?
What’s more, as the videos above illustrate, Saipov was caught on multiple cameras and this was all quickly published online. However, in spite of the tens of thousands of cameras throughout the Las Vegas area and inside the Mandalay Bay Casino—not a single video nor even a still image from a surveillance camera has been released.
Why haven’t authorities released a single image of Paddock carrying a bag into the hotel? Why haven’t authorities released a single image of Paddock sitting down at one of the many slot machines at which he was alleged to have used his girlfriend’s point card?
Indeed, there was surveillance footage released of Stephen Paddock immediately after the shooting. However, this video was obtained by NBC news—from a different hotel, six years ago.
How is it that NBC was able to get surveillance footage from six years ago, almost immediately after the shooting, and police can’t release a single image of Paddock at the Mandalay Bay Casino during his stay and before he shot himself in his hotel room?
It is ridiculous to consider the fact that most of the information the public has about Stephen Paddock and what went on inside Mandalay Bay has not come from police. Instead, it has come from citizens with access to certain information and leaked to the press. In fact, police seem to want the public to remain entirely in the dark about what happened as they continue to change their story and they actually publicly noted that they wanted to punish the person who leaked the photos of Paddock’s suite to the news.
Department Undersheriff Kevin McMahill noted las moth:
“There was a question about the validity of the crime scene photos that somebody had leaked. I can confirm those are, in fact, photos from inside of the room; they are in fact photos of our suspect, and as the sheriff mentioned previously, we have all opened up an internal investigation to determine the source of the leaks of those photos to the public.”
Why is it that we already know more about an attack and attacker that happened yesterday than we do about an attack and an attacker that happened a month ago? If authorities want to dispel these so-called ‘conspiracy theories’ popping up online, they need to stop changing their stories and release what they know—now.

Divide and Conquer strategies are working over time with this situation.
Hi @Nevada Forensics LLC, yeah, is that really your true name??
Anyways, I like that angle you showed about the “Parkers”. They do that a lot. Paddock = field Campos = Field Steve Stephens killed and old man Stephen Paddock is an old man, Jesus Campos saved people, Jesus Christ is a savior. And on and on. These connections however do not make the entire event a hoax.
But what it does do is polarize the truth community. It creates division and that is the ultimate goal to divide the people and have them fighting among themselves. Just because the Media has not released any footage or pictures of the dead or wounded does not mean there were none. False Flags does not mean nobody died. It has a purpose and one of them is to galvanize the masses into sparring corners, while the real things that we need to be addressing go unattended to.
Like, WHERE ARE THE EVACUEES FROM THE HURRICANES AND FIRES!!
We will sit in front of our computers dissecting “released” footage of Crisis actors who are so ridiculous it ain’t funny, but they are supposed to be ridiculous, they are mocking us and getting a big kick out of muddying the waters so we don’t know which way is up. It’s sort of the whole thing about there being “NO PLANES” and ignoring the masterminds behind the plot and how come the towers turned to dust.
This event is moving us into the same Twilight Zone that the whole Pizzagate has done. Then the PTB retaliate by shutting down more and more channels, censoring more and more YouTube content, perpetrating economic warfare on the YouTube Creators who have worked for years building an audience and turning this platform into a full time job, discouraging folks from producing more content, harassing folks to pay for something they got for free, and on and on.
They knew they could not shut the Internet down directly but one of the agendas that come out of this “Nobody Died Narrative” is that they will have ample reason to shut us down, one by one, till they have wiped clean the entire YouTube platform in favor of the Real Fake News.
I suggest we assume that this event was real and staged at the same time. That unless we were there and have actual proof that no one died, that we do like they do and say all of the above.
Remember, the masterminds of these events try to cover all the bases as they are aware that everything moves in a circular fashion, which is why the names repeat themselves. Those are the winks they give to each other. So we have to broaden our vision as well and do our level best to encompass the many possible scenarios, instead of narrowing it down to just one.
It’s like 911.. the most heavily secured airspace, and yoko locals manage to overtake four planes and pilots with box cutters. It makes no sense that more security, more police, more surveillance and less guns are going to prevent this from happening when it has done absolutely nothing to stop this from happening in the first place.
to me, it shows that the Intelligence Operation in this country is not so intelligent after all, or maybe they know more than they are letting on.
Corey Feldman claims he was almost “run down by two trucks” after confirming plans to bring to light the full extent of Hollywood child abuse.
Former child actor Corey Feldman has been mentioned several times on Vigilant Citizen because he’s been, for years, the most vocal denunciator of child abuse in Hollywood. While he always claimed that several high-powered Hollywood executives are part of a child abuse ring (and that one of them raped his co-star Corey Haim at age 11) Feldman never released any names.
Probably energized by the Harvey Weinstein scandal, Feldman recently released plans to expose Hollywood abuse with by directing, producing and self-distributing the “most honest and true depiction of child abuse ever portrayed.” Feldman said on Twitter:
“Right off the bat I can name six names, one of them who’s still very powerful today.”
He also said he can show a link between paedophilia and one of the major studios.
Feldman also started an Indiegogo campaign for $10 million to be used to fund the film, a legal team, and security for himself and his family. Feldman’s wife, Courtney, suggests the money is to ensure their safety after certain events have left him paranoid he’s being targeted.
On October 19th, Feldman tweeted:
“For the record: I will not be going on a talk show to disclose names of my abuser or anyone else’s abusers. So please stop asking me to do so. Also let me add, this is not about fear of being sued! Yes that’s a real possibility but the bigger reason is safety for my family.”
Targeted?
Since Feldman launch his Truth Campaign, Feldman claims that he’s being targeted and his life is being threatened. On October 23rd, he was arrested on a marijuana charge in Louisiana after his tour bus was pulled over for speeding. Feldman believes that the arrest was a shakedown in response to his campaign.
Mangham Police say officers pulled over Feldman’s tour bus for speeding when they found Feldman was driving with a suspended license.
Police say they searched the bus and found marijuana and prescription pills. Feldman was charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, speeding, and driving with a suspended license. He was able to pay a fine and was released.
On his Twitter page, Feldman said he had nothing on him but was charged because the tour bus is in his name. He said the marijuana was a member of the crew’s, who has a legal California prescription. He also claimed the pills were legal, and officers promised to drop the charges if he could provide proof of prescription.
He claimed the traffic stop was “a bit of a good ol shakedown,” and that officers asked for pictures and autographs after he paid the fine in cash.
– KNOE8, Police release details in Coery Feldman traffic stop
He adds that several members quit his band because they were fearing for their lives, wondering if “someone got to them”.
Finally, Feldman said that he had a “near death experience” when two trucks nearly ran him down.
Will Feldman ever actually spill the beans and expose the system. Feldman says in his video:
“It’s not easy. I’ve been degraded at great levels. Rumours have been told, stories have been made up about me… all because they fear what I know. Justice will be served. Because this is about good and evil.”
Vegas cops change their story: Paddock shot security guard BEFORE mass shooting: huge new can of worms Oct 10 by Jon Rappoport
LA Times: “Police said Paddock fired 200 rounds into the hallway” wounding a hotel security guard.
by Jon Rappoport
October 10, 2017
LA Times, October 9: “Police have dramatically changed their account of how the Las Vegas massacre began on Oct. 1, revealing Monday that the gunman shot a hotel security guard [in the leg through the closed door of his hotel room] six minutes before opening fire on a country music concert — raising new questions about why police weren’t able to pinpoint the gunman’s location sooner.”
The previous police story was: Paddock shot security guard Campos after he finished firing on the concert crowd.
The LA Times focuses on how this new information changes the timeline of events—in particular, the addition of minutes before police arrived at Paddock’s door.
Really? That’s the takeaway?
There is a far more serious question. Why did Paddock shoot the security guard through his hotel room door, with 200 rounds of ammunition (according to police), BEFORE starting to fire on the concert crowd?
Whether or not Paddock was using a silenced weapon to shoot the security guard, didn’t he think 200 rounds through a door might possibly alert people in the hotel to what he was about to do—kill people at the concert?
Security guard Campos, according to the Times, was on Paddock’s 32nd floor to check on an alert about another guest’s room door having being left open. Campos wasn’t there to check on Paddock. There is no indication Paddock was suspected of anything.
The new Vegas police sequence of events now goes this way: Paddock is in his room preparing to slaughter people at the concert; security guard Campos comes to the 32nd floor to check on a report of another guest’s door having been left open; Paddock sees Campos out in the hallway outside his door (using a camera Paddock had installed); Paddock fires 200 rounds through his door and hits Campos in the leg; leaving Campos there, Paddock then WAITS SIX MINUTES and begins firing through his broken window(s) at the concert crowd.
Perhaps the police will change their story yet again. Paddock didn’t fire 200 rounds through his door. He stepped out into the hallway and wounded Campos with one shot using a silenced handgun. He then left Campos there, went back into his room, waited six minutes, and then started firing on the concert crowd.
Or, after wounding Campos with one bullet, he paid Campos with a pile of casino chips and told him to wait in the hallway and say nothing to anyone for a half-hour.
Or he bound and gagged Campos after shooting him in the leg and stuffed him into a laundry closet in the hallway.
Or, the most popular tactic in these untenable and absurd stories: “Obviously, Paddock was crazy. There is no way to account for all his actions. We may never know why he did what he did.”
That usually works with the public. The police or the FBI paint themselves into a corner trying to hide the truth. They realize their latest version of events makes no sense. So they invoke the time-honored “we may never know” explanation.
If some reporter wakes up from his stupor and resists going along with the story, he’ll probably hear: “Yes, we’re looking into that. But we have no further comment at this time.”
Or most likely, any time.
Here is a reasonable assessment: since very early on, police had decided on this story: Paddock was the shooter; he was the only shooter; he wounded the security guard after he finished firing on the concert crowd.
But the fact that the security guard was wounded BEFORE the concert shooting was leaking out. People in Las Vegas knew about it. So the cops (or the FBI) decided they had to get out ahead of the leak, if possible. It would be better to change their story than wait and end up with egg on their faces.
And so far, it looks like they made a smart move. Because how many media outlets are pointing out how crazy the new story is?
Most importantly, how many other egregious lies are sitting under the previous security-guard lie? How many other devious twists and turns in the true tale are being hidden?
“The Elephant in the Room, Las Vegas Event: 10-01-2017”
My videos are typically created out of inspiration that motivates me to express my thoughts and views in a certain way. While I had intended to make this presentation based on several videos and links to articles that I had viewed surrounding this subject, it wasn’t until today that I actually was inspired to present my thoughts on this event in the way you will see laid out here.
All too often when these events happen folks get caught up in the details, pitting one detail against the other, assuming they are correct about the whole picture while glaringly staring at one branch on the tree.
My experience has taught me, to always go to the root of the situation issue or concern. Analyze it from deep within and then make connections on your way out.
My first reaction to this most recent event in Las Vegas was the proverbial.. Bullshit! Then I watched a ton of videos read even more articles, and I will post the links to all of them in the blog. The link to the blog is in the description below.
There is also the need in these type of situations to pull all the evidence together into one whole picture. The western mind tends to think linearly, and decide it is either this way or that way. When in actuality, it is typically all of the above in most cases. If we take a moment to see how almost all scenarios could have taken place, we can see a much broader agenda and the purpose of it, rather than focusing on one agenda and running with that. We have to be ever aware that the entities who run the world, are not limited to one agenda, purpose or even narrative. It is very strategic and it understands that as situations contain their own variables, the narrative has to change with each situation or point of view or perspective.
The first thing folks say is it’s about gun control, however, they fail to realize that if it were truly about gun control, all the government would have to do is round up all the guns. Instead, these events cause more folks to buy more guns and the guns and ammunition fly off the shelves within hours or days after these events.
Confusion mounts surrounding the details of the events, which is exactly why the details tend to contradict each other. Multiple stories serve the purpose of keeping the masses chasing its tail, each one trying to be the one to solve the mystery and have the one answer that fits all. They just don’t realize that it’s all of the above.
Meanwhile, distrust is fomented between all parties for or against the narrative. No one knows what to believe, and those who are fervent about their positions are willing to fight tooth and nail to have their position be the last word on it. But they are still looking at it in a linear fashion, and the people who plan these events know full well that everything is a circle.
Fear, is the most immediate outcome of these events, but it is not the main goal. Shaking up the masses can be done with a scary movie of end times or the grid being blasted by solar flares. The masses have been terrorized for so long that it is no longer gain worthy to keep that scenario going. And nowadays with Conspiracy sleuths on the case, before long the entire story unravels. Which just gives them even more incentive to create a new one.
Before long another Distraction is produced to give the MSM more fodder for their “fake news” which has been “fake” for decades and exposed as such for just as long. However to hear government officials parrot the line of fake news seems to make it more believable, and remember, Obama spoke in Germany about fake news, long before they gave that “meme” to Trump. And Hillary blasted the Alt-Right in some of her campaign speeches. The agenda was in the works long before “Trump” came into office, but he makes the perfect fall guy for the agenda.
The Alternative Media scrambles to pull the pieces together as well, but since it too has the linear way of looking at things, the alternative perspectives get into the battle field of wanting to prove their point is more relevant than the other.
I typically do not even watch MSM news, but nowadays, YouTube has the long list of them in my suggested videos, I actually have to take the time to find alternative points of view and they are becoming more and more like needles in a haystack. I can barely find some of my favorites so I know that my subscribers will have just as difficult of a time finding mine.
Again I say, the alternative news has to use a broader brush, even broader than they are now using and realize, it’s all of the above.
“John Brown, the Secret Six, Freemasonry, the Illuminati and the Conspiracy That Precipitated the Civil War. https://youtu.be/TMAx1P2rgbY
The Civil War in this country was fomented by folks who sponsored both sides, that is what a Civil War really is about. There are bad guys and good guys on both sides. But to have a Civil War, both sides have to be armed and extremely dangerous. In order to do so, and especially if the manufacturers have no sides, they are armed with the same weapons. In other words, they are shooting and killing each other with weapons provided by the same manufacturers. The color of money does not change.
Folks may appear to be fighting for the “greater good” but that greater good is only in the eyes of the beholder. And if money is good and control is good, well by any means necessary even if it involves complicity and collusion.
When we fully examine the Divide & Conquer strategy we get a bit closer to what this Las Vegas and many other conflicts around the world are about. If you destabilize the masses among themselves, they will be so overwhelmed by confusion and thinking linearly, they feel they have to “pick a side” they will totally miss the point that they are being divided. For centuries in human history, this has been the underlying agenda for control and dominance. Political parties, identity politics, religion and sexual preferences are simply smoke screens for the real agenda, and that is to keep the masses squabbling over the crumbs while the entities in charge get the lion share of the whole pie.
Even with the issue of Puerto Rico disruption of distribution of supplies. San Juan Mayor, Carmen Yulín Cruz, is supported by Hillary Clinton, Puerto Rican Governor Ricardo Rossello Supported by Trump. Divide and conquer leads once again to destabilization and the masses hurt and confused, don’t know which way to go. It is so dangerous and truly an opportune time for the government to get even more control via the auspices of “humanitarian efforts”.
I can’t help but notice the many similarities between these so-called “staged” events and the so-called perpetrators who are responsible for them and for the most part deceased and therefore cannot defend themselves. But those who have made it to a court of law are obviously compromise in some way and in some instances, are not even the ones whom the MSM claimed were the original perpetrators. But it is very interesting and quite a tell-tale sign when the similarities are lined up. In fact, I was kind of tickled when I saw the connection between just these two, Stephen Paddock and Steve Stephens. Beyond the name, did we get the whole disgruntled gambler in there? Mr. Paddock allegedly killed a bunch of innocents and Steve Stephens killed a kindly old man. The outrage is enough to certainly steer the sights of the masses from the real culprit. Correct?
Then we have a tie in with Adam Lanza. How could such an old man, seemingly a bit of a boozer, have the strength and know how to kill so many folks and from such a distance and with such high power weaponry? Comparing that to the story of Adam Lanza, a quiet withdrawn young man barely over 120 lbs being able to wield such high powered weaponry as well, and of course, they both had to be mentally unbalanced. If you ask me, it’s the script writer who needs mental health assistance along with the folks who believe this. It is unfortunate that folks become so distracted that they can’t see “the forest for the trees.”
The largest mass shooting in American History. Personally, they said this about what happened at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, but they tend to forget a couple of other events.. Las Vegas Is Only the Deadliest Shooting in US History Because They Don’t Count Black Lives. The link to the events recounted in the historical record is in the blog post below as well. Today, it is needed to continue the blame game and keep the natives restless as they rewrite history for the umteenth time. The MSM shudders at alternative news outlets calling them “fake news” while they are knee deep in propaganda.
The Irony More Gun Control for Civilians/More Militarization of the Police
is very striking as an outcome for these situations. Unless Mr. Paddock was an octopus, how would one man shoot or need to have available 42 guns?
So let’s look at the big Elephant in the room. The idea that gun control will stop gun violence is quite laughable. Even with the law stating……..
It is quite apparent that if anyone in the Shadow Government wants to create a scenario of terror they will simply find a patsy and give him all the guns “he” or “they” need to pull it off. It really doesn’t matter how many gun laws are enacted. They can all be ignored, circumvented or colluded with. And who has access to these weapons?
THE BIG ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM
As long as the big Elephant in the room has access to these weapons, no amount of gun laws, codes, regulations, etc, will keep those guns out of the hands of those who will terrorize the masses with them. The US government is one of the biggest if not the biggest gun salesman in the world, and they have destabilized countries to prove it.
The US is notorious for selling and giving guns to so-called rebels/terrorists in conflicts as well as arming the prevailing governments against the so-called rebels/terrorist. They sell their weapons to both sides of the conflict. Gun manufacturers know exactly who they are selling these high powered automatic weapons to, US governmental agencies with the authority to purchase them.
What they do with them after purchasing them can be seen in these mass shootings where people who are seemingly in capable of tying their shoes without falling over are performing feats like super soldiers. And the baby elephant in the room? Who are these super soldiers? And who trains them?
We can scrap back and forth for days and days, watch a ton of videos and read another ton of articles, but the bottom line is, only the US government and its many intelligent and law enforcement agencies can pull off these events as they have full and unfettered access to all the resources needed to make it happen. As we squabble among ourselves as to what the real narrative is about these attacks, they are planning the next one. In essence even the attack itself, is a distraction from the real deal.
As the narrative quickly formed into one of a “lone wolf” old man who somehow managed to cart 23 rifles up to the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas casino hotel room without nary a photo or security image of him doing so, many balked. But one Australian man knows what he saw, and he saw “multiple gunmen.” More than one gunman
An Australian man who was staying in the room next to the shooter in the Mandalay Bay has confirmed he witnessed multiple gunmen involved in the Las Vegas attack. “There were multiple people dead and multiple shooters. I was just hiding waiting for police to come get us. I got outside safely and was hiding in bushes,” Brian Hodge told Australia’s Courier-Mail. Hodge, who was staying in room 32134, right next door to Stephen Paddock in room 32135, also provided important information when he revealed that a security guard was killed by police. “My floor is a crime scene. They killed a security guard on my floor.”
Witness Wendy Miller, also from Australia, said she too, saw a security guard being chased. She was staying at the Luxor Hotel (next to the Mandalay Bay) with her husband. But they had been at a bar in the Mandalay Bay when she saw what she described as a “man of interest” run by. “We managed to make our way back to our room…” she told The Courier-Mail. “We are in lockdown. Our door is deadlocked and a chair against the door.” Miller said she saw the man sprint through the hotel after coming off an escalator from the Mandalay Bay. “The man that they [security] were chasing was wearing a security jacket like them,” she said.
Many eyewitness reports that don’t match the carefully crafted narrative that is being regurgitated and that we are expected to believe are also being silenced.
Information is being heavily censored on YouTube. Why would police shoot or even chase a security guard? For likely the same reasons that YouTube keeps taking down video evidence of a shooter firing from the fourth floor, substantially and obviously lower than the 32nd floor. The narrative is falling apart.
A screenshot, taken by SHTFPlan, showing one of
the many fourth-floor shooter videos being removed from YouTube.
Watch the video below while you can, as it’s hard to say how long it will be available.
Many reports and eyewitness accounts of people saying they saw more than one shooter are being removed from websites like YouTube. When censorship begins, we know there’s something out there that we aren’t supposed to see. We are supposed to believe the media and obey the government because of this tragedy. “Never let a crisis go to waste,” said Rahm Emmanuel, Barack Obama’s senior advisor.
The media and the government are definitely covering up some of the obvious information. It doesn’t take a genius to see that the story we are being told doesn’t fit. And the more they the powers that be try to explain, the less plausible it all sounds.
News reporters and anchors have repeatedly referred to the recent tragedy in Las Vegas as the “worst mass shooting in U.S. history.” Like all things that are constantly repeated, the proclamation has become fact.
In 2013 a report by the Congressional Research Service defined a public mass shooting (pdf) this way:
incidents occurring in relatively public places, involving four or more deaths—not including the shooter(s)—and gunmen who select victims somewhat indiscriminately. The violence in these cases is not a means to an end such as robbery or terrorism.
So, according to that broad definition, we wondered: Is 64-year-old Stephen Paddock the worst mass shooter in the long history of America? Does the Las Vegas incident qualify as the “deadliest” mass-shooting incident?
Only if you don’t count black people.
On Monday, The Root 100 honoree and data scientist Samuel Sinyangwe tweeted this:
Las Vegas shooting isn’t deadliest mass shooting in US history. The deadliest mass shootings were acts of white supremacist terrorism. (1/x)
He is right. The nearsightedness of America’s historical vision is not only hyperbolic, but that vision often has a blind spot when it comes to people of color. There are countless incidents in which black and brown people were killed in incidents far worse than what happened in Vegas. Here are some of them:
The Bombing of Black Wall Street
On June 1, 1921, white rioters looted and burned the black area of Tulsa, Okla., known as Black Wall Street. Angry at the economic success of blacks in the area (the area became known as “Black Wall Street” because of the number of successful businesses and wealthy black inhabitants), white Tulsans accused a black man of raping a girl and attacked the area.
While white citizens used dynamite and planes to bomb the city, leaving more than 8,000 people homeless, eyewitness accounts charge that the vast majority of the people killed (estimates range from 80 to 300) died because the city’s law-enforcement officers deputized every able-bodied white man and handed out weapons from the city’s armory.
Shortly after the fighting had broken out at the courthouse, a large number of whites – many of whom had only a little while earlier been members of the would-be lynch mob — gathered outside of police headquarters on Second Street. There, perhaps as many as five-hundred white men and boys were sworn-in by police officers as “Special Deputies.” Some were provided with badges or ribbons indicating their new status. Many, it appears, also were given specific instructions. According to Laurel G. Buck, a white bricklayer who was sworn-in as one of these ‘Special Deputies”, a police officer bluntly told him to “Get a gun and get a nigger.”
Shortly thereafter, whites began breaking into downtown sporting goods stores, pawnshops, and hardware stores, stealing — or “borrowing” as some would later claim — guns and ammunition … a Tulsa police officer helped to dole out the guns that were taken from his store.
More bloodshed soon followed, as whites began gunning down any African Americans that they discovered downtown.
In the mid-1800s, Charles Stone and Andre Kelsey began enslaving the Native American Pomo of Clearlake, Calif. They forced the Pomo to bring them their daughters for sexual pleasure. They killed the Pomo for trying to escape. They only “paid them” 4 cups of wheat per day. One day, two of the Pomo, Shuk and Xasis, went to look for more food, borrowing Stone and Kelsey’s horses. When it became apparent that they wouldn’t find food, the men knew that Stone and Kelsey would kill them if they found out that they had used their horses, so they killed Stone and Kelsey instead.
Capt. Nathaniel Lyon was searching for the men to punish them and brought soldiers and white civilians. When they found members of the Pomo tribe hiding on Bloody Island, near Clearlake, they slaughtered 60 of the island’s 400 inhabitants. On their way back, they killed another 75 on the Russia River for good measure.
Lyon was never disciplined.
Colfax Massacre
On April 13, 1873, black people in Colfax, La., began gathering at the courthouse and digging trenches. They were afraid that whites, disgruntled by Republican rule and a court decision that allowed blacks to vote, were about to attack. A civilian militia of angry white men surrounded the courthouse and convinced the blacks to hand in their weapons and surrender. The black citizens complied.
And that’s when the massacre started.
As many as 40 times more blacks were killed than whites. They invaded the courthouse and killed unarmed men. They hunted down women and children trying to hide in the surrounding woods. They dumped bodies in the river. They took 50 prisoners but later summarily killed them one by one. Historian Eric Foner called it “the bloodiest single instance of racial carnage in the Reconstruction era … ”
At least 150 black citizens were killed. Three white men died. No one was ever convicted of a crime.
Thibodaux Massacre
In 1887 nearly 100,000 black sugar-plantation workers in Thibodaux, La., decided to protest their unfair treatment, low wages and the holding of workers’ wages until the end of the season, forcing them into a kind of indentured servitude.
In response, Judge Taylor Beattie, who owned a sugar plantation, declared martial law and paid a 300-man private militia to keep the peace. The militia ordered every black person in the city to show a pass or leave. The blacks who didn’t were rounded up with their families and executed. In all, between 35 and 100 blacks were killed. The count is not official because some bodies were burned.
No one was ever … do I have to keep saying this?
The Elaine Massacre
In 1919, black sharecroppers gathered outside of Elaine, Ark., to listen to Robert L. Hill explain how sharecropping was unfair and to advocate for voting rights. The meeting was guarded by Union troops, but when white men showed up at the meeting, shots were exchanged. The sheriff then called for a posse to find the people responsible.
Five hundred to 1,000 white men rushed in from across the country to hunt down the killers and quell the “Negro insurrection.” When it was over, 237 black people were dead. Then all-white juries charged and sentenced 12 blacks to death. Another 36 pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, and 67 were convicted of other crimes.
The mass deaths at Philadelphia’s MOVE headquarters in 1985 don’t make the list because law-enforcement officers bombed the men, women and children living there. And the time whites nearly wiped out the Wiyot Native American tribe in 1860 doesn’t belong on this list because the Wiyot were killed with knives and hatchets as well as guns.
While all loss of life is tragic, on the scale of white people killing people of color, Paddock wouldn’t even make the all-star team. But, like all mediocre white guys, regardless of historical facts, he will be thought of as “great.”
At least 50 Killed as Gunman Opens Fire at Las Vegas Concert
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A gunman perched high on the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas Strip casino unleashed a shower of bullets down on an outdoor country music festival below, killing at least 50 people and wounding more than 200 as tens of thousands of frantic concert-goers screamed and ran for their lives, officials said Monday. It was the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
Country music star Jason Aldean was performing Sunday night at the end of the three-day Route 91 Harvest Festival when the gunman opened fire across the street from inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. SWAT teams quickly descended on the concert and the casino, and officers used explosives to get into the hotel room where the suspect was inside, authorities said. The gunman died at the scene and was identified by Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo as Stephen Paddock, 64. A motive was not immediately known.
Aldean was in the middle of a song when the shots came rapidly: Pop-pop-pop-pop. Video of the shooting then showed Aldean stopping and the crowd getting quiet as if they were unsure of what had just happened. The gunman paused and then fired another volley of muzzle flashes from the gold glass casino as more victims fell to the ground while others fled in panic. Some said they hid behind concession stands and other crawled under parked cars.
Kodiak Yazzie, 36, said the music stopped temporarily when the first shots began and the tune even started up again before the second round of pops sent the performers ducking for cover and fleeing the stage.
“It was the craziest stuff I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” Yazzie said. “You could hear that the noise was coming from west of us, from Mandalay Bay. You could see a flash- flash- flash- flash.”
Thousands in the crowd fled as the bullets ran rampant. Monique Dumas from British Columbia, Canada, said she was at the concert, six rows from the stage when she thought she heard a bottle breaking, and then a burst of popping sounds that may have been fireworks. She said as she made her way out, it was “organized chaos” as everyone fled. “It took four to five minutes and all that time there was gunfire.”
In addition to Paddock, police said they located a woman who may have been his roommate — Marilou Danley, 62. Lombardo said they believe this was a “lone wolf” attack.
“It’s a devastating time,” Lombardo said.
Police shut down the usually busy Las Vegas Boulevard and authorities across the state and federal ranks converged onto the scene as dozens of ambulances ferried those struck by gunfire. Nearby Interstate 15 and flights at McCarran International Airport were briefly closed. Hospital emergency rooms were jammed with victims delivered by ambulance. Others loaded the wounded into their cars and drove them to hospitals.
Jose Baggett, 31, of Las Vegas, said he and a friend were in the lobby of the Luxor hotel-casino — directly north of the festival — when people began to run, almost like in a stampede. He said people were crying and as he and his friend started walking away minutes later, they encountered police checkpoints where officers were carrying shotguns and assault rifles.
“There were armored personnel vehicles, SWAT vehicles, ambulances, and at least a half-mile of police cars,” Baggett said.
Among those killed were two off-duty police officers who were attending the concert. Two on-duty officers were wounded, including one who underwent surgery and was upgraded to stable condition early Monday, police said.
Hours after the shooting, Aldean posted on Instagram that he and his crew were safe and said the shooting was “beyond horrific.”
“It hurts my heart that this would happen to anyone who was just coming out to enjoy what should have been a fun night,” Aldean said.
President Donald Trump extended condolences to the victims and their families.
In a tweet Monday, Trump offered “My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting. God bless you!”
White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Trump was “briefed on the horrific tragedy in Las Vegas.”
Sanders said that “we are monitoring the situation closely and offer our full support to state and local officials. All of those affected are in our thoughts and prayers.”
The shooting at the sold-out Route 91 Harvest festival was the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history. Forty-nine people were killed when a gunman opened fire at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando in June 2016.
Sunday’s shooting came more than four months after a suicide bombing at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England, that killed 22 people. Almost 90 people were killed by gunmen inspired by Islamic State at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris during a performance by Eagles of Death Metal in November 2015.
Authorities Release Dashcam Video of Philando Castile Killing Days After Ex-Cop’s Acquittal
EXCERPT: MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota police officer who pulled over Philando Castile politely told the driver that his brake lights were out and calmly instructed him not to pull out his handgun before suddenly drawing his own weapon and firing seven rounds into the car, a video released Tuesday showed.
The dashboard video taken from St. Anthony police Officer Jeronimo Yanez’s squad car illustrated how a simple traffic stop of a Black man shifted in an instant from a routine exchange to a deadly confrontation.
When Yanez opened fire, another officer near the car jumped back, and Yanez began yelling at the driver. As more police and an ambulance arrived, Yanez could be heard breathing heavily and swearing and trying to explain his actions to fellow officers.
The video was made public just days after the Latino officer was acquitted on all counts in the case. Although the squad-car footage was described repeatedly and was shown to jurors in the courtroom, it had never been made public until Tuesday.
The shooting on July 6, 2016, in the Twin Cities suburb of Falcon Heights gained widespread attention because Castile’s girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, livestreamed its gruesome aftermath on Facebook. Unlike Reynolds’ video, the squad-car video shows the situation’s quick escalation and the shooting itself.
Yanez, who was found not guilty of manslaughter and other charges, began firing only seconds after Castile told the officer he had a gun.
NB Commentary: Personally, I don’t think it’s about race. I am sure they will be hard pressed to find a jury that either didn’t hear about the allegations or never heard of Bill Cosby. I mean next to Oprah and Barack Obama, what other internationally known Black person have we heard of coming out of Hollywood especially during those days. Not to mention his TV series and commercials. If anything, folks will be more lenient even tolerant or maybe even disbelieving in the allegations due to his notoriety.
It’s about Hollywood, it’s about being a part of the shenanigans that go on in Hollyweird. It’s about how they chose certain folks to be “Super Stars” and how they exploit them once they agree to being chosen. It’s about the promises that are made to them and what they have to do to still be a part of the game. It’s about the parties, the backroom deals, the wine, women and song. And may I add, drugs and other nefarious goings on that happen in Hollyweird. Eddie Murphy said something to the effect, that it’s hard to get out of Hollywood clean.
Back in the day, much of the stuff that went on in Hollyweird was hidden from the public, nowadays, there are a plethora of articles, documents and YouTube videos that tell the story of what happens in Hollywood. Bill Cosby was chosen to play a role and as long as he played that role, he was able to do whatever he did. I strongly believe he decided he didn’t want to play ball anymore. Not sure what ball they threw his way, but for sure, these folks in Hollyweird make you an offer you can’t refuse.. Or you go down and it’s just that simple. It ain’t about race, it’s about the game. If you are gonna be a player, then you gotta play…. Or else.
Bill Cosby arrives for the second day of jury selection in his sexual assault case at the Allegheny County Courthouse. (AP Photo/Gene J. Puskar)
PITTSBURGH (AP) — With just one Black person seated among the first 11 jurors chosen for Bill Cosby’s sexual assault trial, defense lawyers are crying foul and accusing prosecutors of trying to systematically keep Blacks off the jury.
The lawyers returned to court on Wednesday in Pittsburgh to pick a 12th juror and six alternates. Cosby arrived Wednesday just before 8 a.m.
For now, Judge Steven O’Neill has rejected the race bias argument.
Prosecutors said race was not a factor in their decision to strike two Black women from the panel this week. They said one was a former Pittsburgh police detective who sued the city after she was arrested in a public scandal.
O’Neill pledged to revisit the issue if defense lawyer Brian McMonagle, who had accused prosecutors of “a systematic exclusion of African-Americans,” presented statistical evidence to back that up.
The 100 people summoned to the Allegheny County courthouse for juror consideration so far have included 16 people of color. A new jury pool will be summoned on Wednesday.
The jurors selected on Tuesday included a Black woman who said she knew only “basic information” about the case, a young white man who initially expressed a tendency to believe police and two people who said they don’t read or watch the news.
The jury now consists of seven men and four women — all but one of them white — in a case that Cosby has said may have racial undertones.
The actor-comedian once known as America’s Dad for his beloved portrayal of Dr. Cliff Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” is charged with drugging and molesting a Temple University women’s basketball team manager at his home near Philadelphia in 2004. He has called the encounter consensual. Dozens of other women have made similar accusations against Cosby, 79, but O’Neill is allowing only one of them to testify at the June 5 trial in suburban Philadelphia. The jury from Pittsburgh will be sequestered nearly 300 miles from home.
Cosby, in an interview last week, said race could be a motivating factor in the accusations against him.
“Race plays a role in every trial, but it shouldn’t eclipse … the evidence,” Loyola Law School professor Laurie Levenson said. “This case is frankly more about gender, celebrity, how women are treated [and] Bill Cosby’s credibility. But race may take a more focused perspective because the defense has [raised it] recently.”
The trial will take place in Montgomery County, where Cosby had invited Andrea Constand to his home in 2004. Constand said she went seeking career advice. She said Cosby gave her wine and pills that put her in a stupor before molesting her on his couch. Constand was 30 and dating a woman at the time, while Cosby was 66 and long married to wife Camille. Cosby in sworn testimony has said he put his hand down Constand’s pants but said she did not protest.
Cosby has said he does not expect to testify.
The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are the victims of sexual assault unless they come forward, as Constand has done.
Cosby was arrested Dec. 30, 2015, just days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired. He has pleaded not guilty and remains free on $1 million bail.
Bill Cosby’s lawyers pressed a judge Tuesday to keep the comedian’s damaging deposition in a decade-old lawsuit out of his sexual assault trial, saying he agreed to answer questions after being assured he wouldn’t be charged with a crime. (Nov. 1)
The public may be waking up to the mountain of rape allegations now, but women were coming forward years ago to warn that the Jell-O Man was not so sweet.
NB Commentary: Bill Cosby is about to be back in the news. After a little over a year or so, the media attention will be focused on him once again. Unless of course they give us something else to focus on. Which is quite likely.
I am going to create a video playlist… and hopefully I won’t get too distracted from this project. But I have written several blogs on this topic and I wish to share my thoughts with you on some of the topics that I covered in my blog.
This is a weird adventure for me because I actually met Bill Cosby. In fact, I have never been given to the star mania, but there were a handful of “stars” who derived the allure from me that most others did not, so when I met him, I was overwhelmed and practically became faint. He had become a household word in my life as a young teenager and young adult. He was a black man that I listened to. His comedy albums were something that you cherished.
Back then to even purchase one album was a sign of having some significant income, not too mention having a library of albums by various artist and entertainers.
I grew up around the Red Fox, Richard Pryor and several other “foul” mouthed comedians who were only played at adult parties. It was awesome to listen to a black man, make us laugh and be able to do it in the light and around children and family members.
We would sit on our steps on summer nights and mimic his routine. Most of us had never even seen him in person but we knew his albums by heart and we would sound like him at least.
There was one youth on our block who was so funny, before he started mimicking Cosby, that when he added Cosby to his repertoire, he was even more funny and he kept us laughing till we shed tears and other bodily fluids.
So, it is definitely disheartening to have this man, a superstar in our eyes back then and an icon, AKA America’s dad in the eyes of the more contemporary folk.
The great thing about age is that you were there when it happened. And then again, you find out as you get older, that you were not really there on some levels, particularly if they were covering up and had hidden agendas.
All we knew back then was that he was a black man and he was funny as hell and that he didn’t curse and he talked about his life and family to such a degree that we could all relate to it, especially since we were from Philadelphia.
What we did not is the Hollywood drama. We did not know the shenanigans that went on behind the scenes. We were not privy to the real Cosby and what he had to do to become the “icon” or “America’s Dad”. We did not know any of that. And it is so true today, that many folks have no clue of what happens behind the scenes when it comes to the folks they adore, the stars they emulate and even want to be like. They have no clue as to what has to happen to these stars or even what happened to them before they became entertainers.
Today, we have the Internet. In the 50’s and 60’s we had black and white televisions and lp’s and 45’s. We had one or two papers in the neighborhood. We had Jet Magazine, Sepia and Ebony. There were few publications that catered to the Black community so we got our news from Time, Newsweek, Look and sometimes Reader’s Digest. None of these publications would talk openly about what went on behind the scenes in Hollywood. And if so, it would be inferred or in fiction form. Every once in a while a brave reporter would go deep into a story and tell all, but still those stories were syndicated and only written in certain news outlets and magazines. In those days we had word of mouth or gossip in some cases about the stars, but if it was about someone we favored, we would blow it off as jealousy.
Nowadays, the wealth of information and the ability to gain more and more of it, is sometimes overwhelming, and while you may want to get your hands on it all, it is virtually impossible to do so, so you have to pick and focus and stay focused.
What I wish to do with this video series is discuss the some many tentacles that are part of the Cosby Saga.
I will start with this article from Atlanta Black Star.
Then I want to go to my dream.. I really think that my dream has all the following elements in it.
I will address what folks perceive as racism when Bill Cosby was targeted for the “fall” from grace.
I will give you all a little history on Bill Cosby, his background and how he came into being the “clean” comedian.
I will discuss the “rape” allegations and their implications particularly as it has been such a long time and that the women are coming out now and what media hype it created. I want to talk about the real women and the real “victims” and the reason they may not have said anything when it happened.
I want to address the “Cult of Personality” and how we get caught up in it thinking the person we see on screen is really the person and how we don’t realize they are “actors” playing a role.
I want to talk about his age and career, and what the implications are if convicted or not.
I want to talk about Enis, his son and the mystery still surrounding it.
I hope that I can stay focused enough to get through this all.
I may throw in another video here and there as I make it through this series.

After effortlessly roasting people like Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama ended his speech at the White House Correspondents Dinner the way we all wished he would, with a presidential mic drop so powerful that Donald Trumpcould feel the impact blow off his hair system from hundreds of miles away.
This immediately iconic mic drop came after the most earnest moment in his speech, where he thanked the correspondents for “working to push to shine a light on the truth” and helping him “strengthen democracy.” “With that I have just two more words to say,” he prefaced the move, “Obama out.” Then he dropped that mic like it was the Cuba embargo.
The moment had been a long time coming, as his final year in office has seen a change in him that supporters have pushed for since 2008. Whether it was asking if “folks want to pop off,” getting Game of Thrones screeners sent to him early, inviting everyone’s favorite rappers to the White House, or getting coffee with Jerry Seinfeld while still doing his duties as commander in chief, Obama has been living his last year with swagger.
It is a bittersweet moment to see President Obama give us a GIF that is the ultimate sign off knowing that whoever comes after him will have big shoes to fill, in the comedy department at the very least. In a highlight from his speech, Obama subtlety gives an idea of who he thinks is our next president by saying, “Next year at this time, someone else will be standing here in this very spot, and it’s anyone’s guess who she will be.
A Liberian health official says the Ebola outbreak is now above the control of its government.
“Our government has declared this now as a humanitarian crisis that is above the control of the national government,” Tolbert Nyenswah, Liberia’s assistant minister of health, told CBS News.
More than 700 people have died in four western African nations during the largest Ebola outbreak ever, with over 320 known cases in Liberia alone. One American died while contracting the virus in Liberia. Two other American medical missionary workers also contracted Ebola.
Model State Emergency Health Powers Act “could turn governors into dictators” Federal health authorities could exercise authoritarian powers to control an Ebola outbreak if the deadly disease hits the United States under the Model State Emergency Health Powers Act, legislation passed in the wake of 9/11 which attracted controversy at the time for its draconian scope.
With the Ebola outbreak in West Africa having been declared the worst in history by the World Health Organization, concerns are mounting that the disease could spread via international air travel. Asked whether the virus could arrive in the United States, CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta said, “It’s going to happen at some point.”
The Model State Emergency Health Powers Act, drafted during the 2001 anthrax attacks, has since been adopted in whole or in part by 33 states. The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons warned that the legislation “could turn governors into dictators,” while constitutional lawyer Phyllis Schlafly labeled it “an unprecedented assault on the constitutional rights of the American people.”
Truth Raider Warns of Ebola False Flag The federal government already has the authority to round people up against their will Ebola Vaccines: Poor Market Potential and Lack of Subjects for Clinical Trials Holding Up Testing The most promising one is stuck in safety testing for the simple reason there is no money for a vaccine that has no market. Most big pharmaceuticals do not like to sink assets into developing any drug with low potential. That leaves the playing ground largely to the government and small, niche companies.
Western governments are now issuing alerts to doctors to be on the lookout for symptoms of the disease after an infected Liberian man was found to have traveled through a major transport hub in Nigeria. The World Health Organization has called the outbreak the worst on record, while Doctors Without Borders says the situation is “out of control.”
Back in April, the Department of Defense announced that it had deployed biological diagnostic systems to National Guard support teams across the U.S. in readiness for any potential Ebola outbreak.
An NHS doctor has urged the world to wake up to the growing threat of Ebola after risking his life working 24-hour hospital shifts trying to save pregnant women struck down by the disease.
If the worst Ebola outbreak in recorded history reaches the United States, federal law permits “the apprehension and examination of any individual reasonably believed to be infected with a communicable disease”. These individuals can be “detained for such time and in such manner as may be reasonably necessary”. In other words, the federal government already has the authority to round people up against their will, take them to detention facilities and hold them there for as long as they feel it is “reasonably necessary”. In addition, as you will read about below, the federal government has the authority “to separate and restrict the movement of well persons who may have been exposed to a communicable disease to see if they become ill”. If you want to look at these laws in the broadest sense, they pretty much give the federal government the power to do almost anything that they want with us in the event of a major pandemic. Of course such a scenario probably would not be called “marital law”, but it would probably feel a lot like it.
