6 Painful Truths About the War on Terrorism

6 Painful Truths About the War on Terrorism

Dylan CharlesEditor

Waking Times
If you were 4 years old when 9/11 occurred in 2001, then you’re now old enough to enlist and fight in the war on terror. Recent geo-political events suggest that this conflict may endure for some generations to come, so, regretfully, your children may also get to participate. The war on terrorism is apparently part of our culture and part of our lives now.

The towers are gone now, reduced to bloody rubble, along with all hopes for peace in our time, in the United States or any other country. Make no mistake about it: We are at war now — with somebody — and we will stay at war with that mysterious Enemy for the rest of our lives. It will be a Religious War, a sort of Christian Jihad, fueled by religious hatred and led by merciless fanatics on both sides. It will be guerilla warfare on a global scale, with no front lines and no identifiable enemy.” – Hunter S. Thompson

By no means a prophet, Hunter S. Thompson was just an eccentric observer with a knack for connecting the dots between political events and the ongoing mainstream media narrative that supports and manufactures consent for the oligarchy. When taken at face value, the terror script is indeed a rather convincing and motivating story, but when you dismantle the official fiction and bring the hidden pieces into the picture, the truth about the war on terror is just too heavy for conscious people to ignore any longer. As it persists, international terrorism is guaranteed to increase, and as time goes by, we learn more and more about the real reasons why we’ve been forced into this apocalyptic conflict. After nearly 15 years of kicking down doors, drone bombing villagers, shattering societies, and mourning our own senselessly dead, here are 6 things we now know for sure about the war on terrorism.

“The first casualty when war comes is truth.”  – Hiram W. Johnson

1.) The war on terror was never about ensuring the security of Americans at home or abroad, nor was the current situation the result of foreign policy blunders. The conflict was engineered from the onset to break up, destroy and destabilize most of the oil-producing countries in the Middle East and Northern Africa. The war on terrorism is about control of oil, about conquering national economies and turning them over to ‘foreign investors,’ about demonizing Muslim nations, about creating a lawless territory in which to develop Western controlled mercenary armies like ISIS, about protecting Israel’s interests in the region, aboutdestabilizing Europe, about opening access to the poppy fields of Afghanistan, and about punishing those nations which dared to defy the international banking cartel by moving to avert the petro-dollar.The war on terrorism is also about radically altering the legal framework of Western governments to allow for greater surveillance, control and the militarization of once free societies. The aim is to continually broaden the definition of terrorism so that any act of defiance against the state or the corporate oligarchy, whether advocating for human rights, the environment, or any other issue of popular concern, can be persecuted without due process. The war on terror will be used to target American citizens who support the idea of limited government and strive to maintain the protections afforded by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights of the United States of America.Additionally, the war on terror is about creating new markets for the security industry and opening steady income streams for war profiteers and arms manufacturers, so that a relative minority can profit heavily from the continuance of the war and the waste, swindling and destruction involved.

2.) The war on terror doesn’t stop terror, because it is terror. The Western nations most heavily invested in the war on terror are also the nations most heavily involved in global arms trading, which gives advanced weaponry to any despotic tin pot dictator with an oilfield. And France just happens to be the world’s number one exporter of arms per capita. The Western ‘coalition’ regularly kills civilians in other nations directly and indirectly, which is in and of itself a very real type of terrorism.

“You cannot have freedom or peace in a country whose government is engaged in the global wholesale of advanced military arms and weaponry to national governments.”Stefan Molyneux

Regional arms sales by the UK.

3.) Our worst terrorist enemies are the products of government, the military industrial complex and Western intelligence agencies.

The Mujahideen was originally organized, funded, trained and supplied by the CIA to oppose the Soviet Union. The Mujahideen became Al Qaeda with the assistance of Saudi Arabia and American training, arms and financial aid. Al Qaeda has morphed into, or been replaced with ISIS, who is the creation of the military industrial complex, the US, Israel, the UK and France, and is supported by some 40 other nations who knowingly trade and deal with ISIS.

“They tax you in order to create weapons to sell to foreigners to attack you.” –Stefan Molyneux

ISIS, the new Islamic Caliphate as they call it, is the most barbaric, cruel and inhumane social movement to come about in some number of centuries, perhaps even a millenia or more. ISIS was given birth and nurtured into being by the West, and now, primarily Muslim people are suffering horribly in their own homelands while the war intensifies and extends into Europe in acts of urban terrorism.

Video from November 2015 of an ISIS fighter in Syria using an American TOW missile to waste an American Humvee.

4.) The mainstream media plays a crucial in perpetuating the war on terrorism.

The primary role of the corporate-owned and government-controlled mainstream media is to transform selected acts of terror into enduring symbols that can be used again and again to reinforce the war on terror narrative. Their secondary role is to keep the level of tension and stress as high as possible by ceaselessly over-reacting to non-events and over-reporting on non-issues, thereby keeping the public captivated and hypnotized by an ongoing drama so that when a major event does occur it has the greatest possible psychological impact.

Reporting on global terrorism is duplicitous and hypocritical because certain events have more franchise than others in influencing public support for government policy changes and military actions. In the practical world of marketing, French flags pictured draped over national monuments at night-time will go much further in promoting the war on terror than Kenyan flags draped over African monuments.

The media uses shock and awe in a war of psychological attrition against the public. The objective is to incapacitate and sideline people from participating in dissent, while scaring people into acquiescence to any imposed government authority or security measures.

5.) State-sponsored False flag attacks still work to achieve political objectives.

There is a tremendous continual international effort underway to expose the true facts behind each new terror attack, terror plot, and major government lie. The alternative media is growing in reach and effectiveness, however, the reality is that the Hegelian dialectic of problem, reaction, solution still works on a shell-shocked public.

6.) Suicide is more deadly to our soldiers than any terrorist organization.

The war on terrorism represents the first time in US history that suicide has been the leading cause of death of US soldiers. The psychological impact of this type of conflict is unique and the suicide rate of returning soldiers may be our best evidence that the war is unwinnable.

Final Thoughts

The goal of the war on terror is transform people into willing participants in chaos, mayhem and murder, or to turn them into collateral damageNobody is born a terrorist, and we are all being set up as dispensable pawns in an orchestrated clash of civilizations.

The truth is out there. When you cut through the propaganda, emotional triggers, and the divisive nature of discourse today, what’s left is the truth that the war on terror is something that we must end. The rise in global consciousness and our willingness to speak out may be our only hope.

Russian Air Forces destroy 500 terrorist oil trucks in Syria; disrupt oil sales channel

Around 500 fuel tanker vehicles transporting illegal oil from Syria to Iraq for processing have been destroyed by Russia’s Air Forces, the General Staff said. “In recent years, Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) and other extremist groups have organized the operations of the so-called ‘pipeline on wheels’ on the territories they control,” Russian General Staff spokesman Colonel General Andrey Kartapolov said.

Hundreds of thousands of tons of fuel have been delivered to Iraq for processing by trucks and the revenue generated from these illegal exports is the one of the terrorists’ main sources of funding, he said. The spokesman displayed images showing convoys comprised of hundreds of vehicles transporting oil to back up his assertion.

In just the first few days, our aviation has destroyed 500 fuel tanker trucks, which greatly reduced illegal oil export capabilities of the militants and, accordingly, their income from oil smuggling,” Kartapolov stressed. The spokesman also said that the Russian military has begun developing proposals for joint military action with the French Navy against the terrorists in accordance with an order by President Vladimir Putin. “This joint work will begin after the arrival of aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle to the Syrian shores,” Kartapolov explained.

Russia has been bombing Islamic State and other terror groups in Syria since September 30 at the official request of country’s president, Bashar Assad. On Tuesday, Russia’s fleet of 25 long-range bombers joined Su-34, Su-25, and Su-24M warplanes conducting operations in Syria to double the number of airstrikes against the militants. Russian Air Forces destroy 500 terrorist oil trucks in Syria; disrupt oil sales channel — Puppet Masters — Sott.net: http://www.sott.net/article/306705-Russian-Air-Forces-destroy-500-terrorist-oil-trucks-in-Syria-disrupt-oil-sales-channel

How does ISIS earn $3 million a day? NATO helps them smuggle oil

Sputnik News
Sat, 15 Aug 2015 14:11 UTC

The terrorist network Islamic State (ISIL) is financed through illegal oil sales and makes a profit of about three million dollars a day. NATO members, including Turkey, the US and the United Kingdom tolerate the terrorists’ oil smuggling activities, DWN reported.

Close allies of the United States and the UK secretly finance the terrorist group Islamic State (ISIL). The Kurdistan Regional Government in northern Iraq and the Turkish military intelligence have supported ISIL’s oil smuggling activities and supplied the terrorist group with weapons and equipment, DWN reported.

Oil smuggling is one of the main financial resources for ISIL. The terrorist group controls about 60 percent of Syria’s oil production and seven major oil fields in Iraq.

ISIL managed to increase its production to 45,000 barrels of oil per day, supported by a network of corrupt officials in the Kurdish government and Turkey. With their help, the terrorist organization makes an average profit of about 3 million dollars a day, the newspaper wrote.

However, both the Turkish and the Kurdish government officially deny any connection to ISIL’s oil smuggling activities. Both governments are said to have taken corresponding measures to stop oil smuggling, supported by the US and British governments.

However, widespread corruption in political circles practically brought these efforts to a naught, investigative journalist Nafeez Ahmed reported to MiddleEastEye.

Ahmed refers to statements of Turkish, Kurdish and Iraqi officials. An anonymous source in the ruling party of Iraq, the Islamic Dawa party, confirmed to him that “members of the Kurdistan Regional Government have tolerated ISIL’s oil sales on the black market.”

According to the official, Turkey tolerates ISIL’s oil black market as well, with the US silently watching these activities.

“The Americans know what’s going on. But Erdogan and Obama have a good relationship with each other. Erdogan makes basically what he wants and the United States has to agree with it,” the official said.

Even British corporations are reported to be involved in the business of the Islamists. The Anglo-Turkish oil company Genel Energy closely linked to a group of British parliamentarians has reportedly received an order to supply the refineries for the Kurdish energy company Group Nokan. The latter is suspected of supporting ISIL’s illegal oil sales to Turkey, DWN reported.

Merica! Some idiots vandalized a bookstore named ISIS after Paris attacks

Kent ErdahlFox 31 DenverTue, 17 Nov 2015 19:49 UTC

Anger over the recent terrorist attacks in France appears again to have been misdirected at a Denver book store. Isis Books & Gifts on South Broadway has been in business for 35 years, but lately it has been threatened and targeted by vandals associating it with the terrorist group commonly referred to as ISIS.

This weekend, someone threw a brick through an “Isis Book & Gifts” sign outside the business. The incident took place just days after the ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for attacks in Paris. Karen Charboneau-Harrison, owner of Isis Books & Gifts, said she named her store after the Egyptian goddess Isis. Charboneau-Harrison said the goddess represents women, healing and magic, and she says it’s a fitting name for a store that features books and gifts from all types of world traditions and spiritual sources. The shelves include Christian, Hindu, Native American and Pagan texts, to name a few.

“We believe that everybody is right when it comes to the way that they express their spirituality as long as it’s a positive path,” Charboneau-Harrison said.

In recent months, the acronym ISIS, which stands for Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, has been associated with a terrorist organization that has carved a destructive path. After the attacks in Paris, Charboneau-Harrison said she was disappointed to see someone shatter her sign outside.

“We’re all very heartbroken (about the Paris attacks) so I don’t know if somebody walking down the street just saw our name on the sign and kind of lost it for a moment and threw a rock through it,” Charboneau-Harrison said. “Or if it was an ignorant person who actually thought this was a bookstore for terrorists, I don’t know.”

Charboneau-Harrison said it is the fourth time the business has been vandalized in just the past few months. She said they had to replace their front door after someone shattered the glass. Someone also threw pink paint across the front of the store, and the same sign has already been broken once before.

“It does get a bit tiresome,” Charboneau-Harrison said. “Plus expensive.” But instead of changing the store’s name, Charboneau-Harrison hopes everyone changes what they call the terrorists. President Barack Obama already uses the term ISIL.

After the Paris attacks, support is also growing for using the term Daesh, which is an acronym for the groups full Arabic name (al-Dawla al-Islamiya fi al-Iraq wa al-Sham) and can also be interpreted as a play on words.

“It apparently means a bigot who chooses to be violent, which describes them much better than using an Egyptian goddesses name,” Charboneau-Harrison said.

In the meantime, if seeing the sign for her store makes people angry, Charboneau-Harrison has a suggestion.

“They should come in and we can help them with meditation and we can explain to them how they can empower themselves instead of throwing rocks,” she said.

NB Commentary: Paris attacks shaping the G20 Summit meeting

Paris attacks shaping the G20 Summit meeting

Okay, so now it’s Daesh?? why? Because ISIS really stands for Israeli Secret Intelligence Service. So it got downgraded to IS, and now Daesh. I keep telling them, they don’t need to re-invent the wheel. And they keep trying to convince us that this thing, this quagmire can be won. and now they trying to get everybody scared, looking under their beds for terrorists.

What does Daesh mean? ISIS ‘threatens to cut out the tongues’ of anyone using this word

Excerpt: “In January this year, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott announced that he would begin referring to the Islamic State group by this name, saying: “Daesh hates being referred to by this term, and what they don’t like has an instinctive appeal to me.”It seems that other world leaders have now followed suit, with French president Francois Hollande and the USA’s secretary of state John Kerry both using the term.According to NBC, ISIS has reportedly threatened to ‘cut out the tongues’ of anyone it hears using the term.Evan Kohlmann, a national security analyst, told NBC: “It’s a derogatory term and not something people should use even if you dislike them.”

Cognitive dissonance at the helm of this campaign or have the Psychopaths of the world been unleashed?

How is it that the dots are not being connected? When you bomb somebody’s home, town, city, country, infrastructure, where are they supposed to go? What are they supposed to do. Stay there and risk loosing their lives?

The War on Terror is waged on all people civilians and militants alike. No longer is it an army against another army or a country against another country, we are looking at what I would call, tribal wars, where people are fighting people simply because they have decided that the “PEOPLE” are the enemy.

And to legitimize this operation they arm the rebels so they rebels can have something to fight back with? It is pure insanity and beyond comprehension that any of this could make any sense to anyone except another Psychopath!

And while we are at it, let’s create an even worse crisis for the refugees fleeing Syria as Turkey outright bombs with western and US back ammo. Turkey, under the bidding of the US has further destabilized its own sovereignty wanting so desperately to be an EU member while endangering the very lives of its own citizens. So as a show of force and strength it will send 10 thousand troops to the border to keep the very people they disenfranchised out of Turkey. Can we scream TOTAL FAIL??

I would like to know who their military strategist is who comes up with these plans, do they have any clue about the “blowback” this can create? Had they even thought about the already looming refugee crisis happening as a result of the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, where did they think the people of Syria who want to live their lives in peace where going to go when their lives and livelihoods have been totally usurped from them? Did they think they could kill off all the civilians and just have the issue of mass graves instead of mass tent cities lining their Turkish borders.

Turkey has geo-politically placed itself inside a cesspool with a bunch of folks who could care less about Turkish interests and are more concerned with their own hegemony in the so-called Middle East.

America: Your Solidarity with Paris is Embarrassingly Misguided

America: Your Solidarity with Paris is Embarrassingly Misguided

Op-Ed by Claire Bernish

November 14, 2015

(ANTIMEDIA) The World, at Large — We are in mourning. Again. Indeed, Paris is in mourning, again.

For the second time in less than a year, we are all de facto Parisians — with Facebook profiles, casinos, and whole buildings draped in the blue, white, and red of the French flag. Solidarity as sympathy, bien sûr — a most poignant message that humanity stands with Paris — and will act decisively to avenge the “carnage” unexpectedly wrought by those whose motives most will never fall victim to, much less comprehend.

Most?

Evidently, despite the accumulated knowledge of the entire planet at our disposal through the computer screen, solidarity has escaped some of us.

And I am weary.

Without question, I mourn for Paris’ recent victims and their families — and I would never claim knowledgeable firsthand experience of the same. But I refuse — despite my partial French heritage — to cloak myself in nationalism of any stripe or star, particularly not now. Because, besides victims in Paris, an incomprehensibly astronomic number of people have been grieving loss of the highest order for some time — in places whose names roll off our tongues as if it’s accepted that violence simply happens there — and a majority likely couldn’t guess the colors on these victims’ flags.

You see, I also mourn for those killed mere hours before Paris crumbled into chaos, in strikingly similar attacks in Beirut.

I mourn the hundreds of thousands displaced or killed in Syria, no matter their pledged allegiance. No matter their professed religion. No matter.

I mourn for the millions killed in ongoing and renewed, illegal United States’ aggression in Iraq — and those facing a torturous demise from exposure to depleted uranium employed in violation of international and humanitarian law — for reasons far closer to ‘American’ and corporate hegemony than compassionate principle.

I mourn the untold number killed in the United States’ insidious — and seemingly permanent — war in Afghanistan. And the countless children there who know nothing of peace, much less the feeling of safety it brings. And patients and staff recently targeted, bombed, and then shot while fleeing the Médecins Sans Frontières hospital in Kunduz — and the irony of that humanitarian organization’s French roots.

I mourn those forced into human slavery or sex trafficking in Malaysia; and curse the scant hope they escape, now that the massive TPP has garnered U.S. government’s tacit approval of the abhorrence that is human trade.

I mourn for Palestinians, whose land was usurped — and whose lives and infrastructure and families and sense of security and HOMES are under siege and occupation by an illegal and actively terrorist State.

I mourn the patients and staff at the over 100 healthcare facilities in Yemen that have been BOMBED since March. And the apparently soulless who found an acceptable target in hospitals.

I mourn for Yemen.

I mourn for the victims of complicit government violence in Mexico, and 43 students and their families who lack answers.

I mourn for Chinese men, women, and children working, quite literally, as slaves, so the West can be rude at dinner and take endless pictures — of its narcissistically apathetic self.

I mourn rampant genocide — past and present — for the sake of manifest destiny. And empire. And imperialism. And inexplicable and unstated reasons.

In fact, I mourn for all victims of terror, whether State or group sponsored, without conditions attached to my grief — no matter location, nor loyalty, nor arbitrary geopolitical happenstance of location of a victim’s birth. And I’m already grieving those soon to be terror’s next victims; since, as French President François Hollande jarringly warned, avenging Paris’ victims just birthed (yet another) “PITILESS” war.

As if gentle were somehow a method to employ in waging war.

Yes, I mourn for Paris. But I do so while weeping in shame at the deplorable supercilious judgment ensconced in Western reaction to it; for countless pitiable xenophobes and their endless vapid justifications; for arrogant commentary from politicians and their media mouthpieces with their embarrassing post-tragedy clamoring to exploit ignorant heartstrings for the appropriate victims; for the endless War of Terror — and the service members who somehow haven’t yet deduced that this would ALL END if they simply refused to fucking fight.

The fact is, grief on this scale is exhausting. And I’m very nearly out of tears.

So keep these victims around the globe in mind — every, single man, woman and child who has, who is, and who will suffer the maiming, horror, torture, and death that’s as necessary to war as those who take up arms — when you next excuse a politician’s stance on war, because the rest of his or her platform seems really promising.

Or, at least, seems the lesser of two evils.

And shake that flag from your social media profile; and your home; and your thoughts. Because as long as you wear just one flag, your attempt to stand with victims of terror is a most embarrassingly hollow solidarity, indeed.

NB Commentary: KENYA ATTACK THAT LEFT 147 DEAD COMPARED TO PARIS ATTACK NEWS COVERAGE

NB Commentary:

Any attack that is hosted by MSM is only done when it suits the overall agenda. Anything outside of the agenda and was not orchestrated by the puppet masters and their puppets has little to no importance unless it can be capitalized upon. #BringBackOurGirls Movement. In which, case it became a National and international project to have people holding white boards in front of them saying “Bring Back Our Girls:. In short order it was found to be a bit of a hoax for two reasons, the school mentioned was not the school where Boko Haram had raided. 2. Alternative news outlets exposed the lunacy of this one and it quickly became a non story. However, that did not stop Boko Haram from its terroristic threats and barbarism, but not in the context of the International spotlight.

And remember the bombing of the Mall In Kenya (Westgate shopping mall attack). That too hit the national/international newswire.. It served the agenda of fear and trepidation and shielded the real issues that were going on at the time. More proof that there has to be an agenda.

So… when there is a big hype about something in the news, look around, there is probably something else that is happening or has happened that they need to blow up another story to distract the masses. And sometimes, it’s just social engineering.

KENYA ATTACK THAT LEFT 147 DEAD COMPARED TO PARIS ATTACK NEWS COVERAGE

  • WS

  •  NOVEMBER 14, 2015

  • PAULA MOONEY

  • The way Kenya is currently trending on Twitter and Facebook shows that folks have plenty to say about the Kenya attacks in comparison to the news coverage that the Paris attacks have received. As reported by CNN, 147 people were killed at Garissa University College in Kenya back on April 2, but news hounds might only remember the horrific attack at the Kenya college as a blip on the radar in the news cycle in comparison to the equally horrific Paris attacks.

  • According to the website popularity tracking list called “What’s Hot” on Alexa.com, an Amazon company, a BBC News article about the 147 people killed in the Kenya attack by an Islamist group is the sixth most popular URL on their list as of this writing.

  • So many tweets and posts are coming into Twitter and Facebook about Kenya that some readers are getting confused, wondering why the Kenya tweets are trending. The Kenya attacks not only left 147 people dead, but also injured at least 79 folks in the attack that lasted for hours. It was a sad day for Kenya, which saw the country experience an attack that claimed such a high death toll that it was the largest amount of people killed on Kenyan soil since 1998, when more than 200 people lost their lives in the bombing of the U. S. Embassy in Nairobi.

  • The disparity of attention between the Kenyan attacks and the Parisian attacks are being blamed on the fact that Kenya is a third-world country.

  • The fact that Facebook has allowed folks to change their profile photos to French flags with Facebook’s new filter to allow them to support Paris, as reported by TIME‎, is being compared to the lack of Kenyan flag filters on Facebook during the time Kenya was attacked.

  • Other attacks are being questioned and re-examined in the wake of the tragic Paris attacks, along with queries about the news coverage, or lack thereof, for other tragic events.

  • As written by Jeremy Wheeler on Facebook about the Paris and Kenya attacks, some social media users are noting the difference in the tragedies in terms of the outpouring of worldwide sympathy and news coverage.

  • “Apologists for the terrorists who murdered in Paris are popping up even before the bodies are cold. Back in April when Islamist terrorists attacked a university in Kenya what was the excuse then? Did you even hear about it?”

  • The Kenya attack on Garissa University College in northeastern Kenya is being brought back to life months later as a means for social media users to give attention to other terrorist attacks around the world.

  • While social media users recognize that both attacks are tragic, Facebook user Ann VanRyan wrote to Facebook, asking about the option for a Kenya flag overlay as Facebook offers the France flag overlay.

  • “Facebook… Where’s my option to have the Kenya flag overlay on my profile pic? This is equally as horrendous and is happening every day in the poorest parts of our world. ‪#‎LookForTheHelpersJess‬

  • Related searches such as Kenya Paris and the #prayforKenya hashtag are also trending in the wake of the controversy over the difference in news coverage. The Kenya attack articles are being retweeted, causing some users to think the Kenya attack just occurred.

Has World War III Begun? Yes, and ongoing since 911

Has World War III Begun? Yes, and ongoing since 911

Actually, for all intents and purposes, a War On Terror to be orchestrated by every nation who wants to stamp out the terrorists by any means necessary, and all these countries are situated all over the globe, in essence is a World War, or the World at War!

People have been saber rattling the ole “Get Ready For World War III” as if they are clueless that the World as we know it, has been at War since WWII. And the US has been at war since 1775. They should call this country a colony of Mars!!

There are so many misconceptions about what a World War would look like, based on what the previous World Wars looked like, but technology has changed since the mid 1900’s. If the elite can foment ground war in every part of the globe under the banner of ridding the world of terrorism, then a World War has been declared.

How many nations participated in World War I?

It grew into a war involving 32 countries. The Allies included Britain, France, Russia, Italy and the United States. These countries fought against the Central Powers which included Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria.

How many nations participated in World War II?

World War 2 was fought between two groups of countries. On one side were the Axis Powers, including Germany, Italy and Japan. On the other side were the Allies. They included Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China and the United States of America.

The rhetorical war on terror[edit]”Because the actions involved in the “war on terrorism” are diffuse, and the criteria for inclusion are unclear, political theorist Richard Jackson has argued that “the ‘war on terrorism’ therefore, is simultaneously a set of actual practices—wars, covert operations, agencies, and institutions—and an accompanying series of assumptions, beliefs, justifications, and narratives—it is an entire language or discourse.”[65] Jackson cites among many examples a statement by John Ashcroft that “the attacks of September 11 drew a bright line of demarcation between the civil and the savage”.[66] Administration officials also described “terrorists” as hateful, treacherous, barbarous, mad, twisted, perverted, without faith, parasitical, inhuman, and, most commonly, evil.[67] Americans, in contrast, were described as brave, loving, generous, strong, resourceful, heroic, and respectful of human rights.[68]Both the term and the policies it denotes have been a source of ongoing controversy, as critics argue it has been used to justify unilateral preventive war, human rights abuses and other violations of international law.” [69][70]  Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_on_Terror>

The livelihood of millions of people throughout the World is at stake. It is my sincere hope that the truth will prevail and that the understanding provided in this detailed study will serve the cause of World peace. This objective, however, can only be reached by revealing the falsehoods behind America’s “War on Terrorism” and questioning the legitimacy of the main political and military actors responsible for extensive war crimes.” (Michel Chossudovsky, August 2005 )” Source: http://www.globalresearch.ca/9-11-and-america-s-war-on-terrorism/24975

After the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Bush administration declared a worldwide “war on terror,” involving open and covert military operations, new security legislation, efforts to block the financing of terrorism, and more. Washington called on other states to join in the fight against terrorism asserting that “either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists.” Many governments joined this campaign, often adopting harsh new laws, lifting long-standing legal protections and stepping up domestic policing and intelligence work.
Critics charge that the “war on terrorism” is an ideology of fear and repression that creates enemies and promotes violence rather than mitigating acts of terror and strengthening security. The worldwide campaign has too often become an excuse for governments to repress opposition groups and disregard international law and civil liberties. Governments should address terrorism through international cooperation, using international law and respecting civil liberties and human rights. Governments should also address the root causes of terrorism, notably political alienation due to prejudice, state-sponsored violence and poverty.
This site deals with the idea and practice of the “war on terrorism.” Materials critically analyze the “war” and its consequences. The site looks at terrorism’s history and root causes and how the concept has been used and abused.” Source: https://www.globalpolicy.org/war-on-terrorism.html

The “war on terror” reformulates many aspects of world politics and the international NGO sector. In the US and elsewhere, ultra-conservative thinktanks have recently set up units to monitor and investigate the NGO sector. NGOs operating in “war on terror” conflicts feel pressured to either act as “sub-contractors for the superpower or pull out.” Source:  http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=127727.0;wap

Israel shoots down Syrian warplane
“Complicating matters further is that the news of the US attack was also complemented by news that Israel had shot down a Syrian warplane in what it described as an act of aggression, confirming the first such incident in three decades. Israel’s military said earlier it had shot down a Russian-made Sukhoi jet over the occupied Golan Heights, which in recent weeks has been the scene of fierce clashes between al-Nusra Front and the Syrian army.
The addition of Arab allies within the more than 40 nation coalition in the attacks was seen as crucial for the credibility of the American-led campaign, yet the inclusion of countries like Turkey – which has turned a blind eye to the mobility of ISIS, and other repressive forces, on its territory and borders – and Saudi Arabia – a nation that has provided a large chunk of the ideological foundations and practices that shape ISIS’ belief system – demands pause from observers and commentators examining the volatile events in Iraq and Syria.
The fact that the US is only willing to work with its allies in the region and is unwilling to significantly include states like Iran, which have contemporary experience in warfare against ISIS, suggests that the campaign is not really about comprehensively confronting the militant organization, but more about ensuring and sustaining American interests when the dust settles.”Source: http://www.mintpressnews.com/us-expands-global-war-terror-striking-isis-targets-syria/196871/

Reaping the Whirlwind of Western Support for Extremist Violence
By Chris Floyd
November 14, 2015 “Information Clearing House” –

“We, the West, overthrew Saddam by violence. We overthrew Gadafy by violence. We are trying to overthrow Assad by violence. Harsh regimes all — but far less draconian than our Saudi allies, and other tyrannies around the world. What has been the result of these interventions? A hell on earth, one that grows wider and more virulent year after year.
Without the American crime of aggressive war against Iraq — which, by the measurements used by Western governments themselves, left more than a million innocent people dead — there would be no ISIS, no “Al Qaeda in Iraq.” Without the Saudi and Western funding and arming of an amalgam of extremist Sunni groups across the Middle East, used as proxies to strike at Iran and its allies, there would be no ISIS. Let’s go back further. Without the direct, extensive and deliberate creation by the United States and its Saudi ally of a world-wide movement of armed Sunni extremists during the Carter and Reagan administrations (in order to draw the Soviets into a quagmire in Afghanistan), there would have been no “War on Terror” — and no terrorist attacks in Paris tonight.” Read More

Again, when they say World War, they are talking about the “World” they live in and the interests they need to preserve; The War impact on the planet but every nation did not participate in it. However, if we can take a concept, Terrorism, and initiate a call to arms to fight it, the sky is the limit as to how far they can stretch this war based on eradicating a concept and ideology. Not a town, not state, nor country or territory. But individuals who can be targeted in any state or territory or country around the Globe.

Now that, Houston, is a World War!!!

Attack on Paris is an "Attack On Humanity?"

Attack on Paris is an “Attack on Humanity?”

Commentary by NB, 11-14-2015
I was just thinking to myself the other day, it’s been pretty quiet. I felt a shift in my person and said, it’s time for something to happen. And s u r enough. Now Paris is under martial law. 1500 soldiers? ?? Really???

Yeah, the whole line of “its’ an attack on humanity” can somebody give me a break???!!! I couldn’t even watch BHO make that ridiculous announcement. How is it an attack on humanity but when drones strikes hit innocents in the Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, how is that NOT an attack on humanity. I am insensed at how they can blatantly favor one portion of humanity over another. What about the attacks that are caused by the so called terrorists in Africa!! Why issn’t that called an attack on humanity? And we all know what solidarity means.
Even Russia is using this as part of their Agenda to support their acts against Terroristic threats, especially since Syria was not invited to the talks  about what is going on in Syria, so Iran said, I ain’t going and Russia is like well dang, if the major players ain’t gonna be there what’s the sense of me going. So we will just keep duking it out until we kill all the bastards! And for some strange reason even the US will not be there. HUH???

The US got played when Russia took over the fight against ISIS and its affiliates. Now they have to garner their allies by calling for a human shield against ISIS or whomever they are gonna claim did it. It’s the solidarity they need! The joining of forces against the band. Like two gangs fighting another gang. Russia is smacking Saudi Arabia! Russia is gaining ground with Iran and Syria! Russia is pulling in Iraq who told the US to stop sending troops to their country, they are now working with the Russians. Folks do not want an endless war on Terror! People are tired, dead and homeless!

Unfortunately as the WHATEVER agenda ensues folks are actually gonna die! They know that we smell a rat, so they are gonna kill some folks to get their programs in place. To me that is the real attack on humanity!

Paris, France…. Strictest gun laws in the world and terrorists can come in armed to the teeth and take out some 160 folks in various attacks around the city??

World and regional powers will discuss the Syrian peace process in Vienna on Saturday, as the world struggles to cope with the terrorist attacks in Paris. Islamic State, one of the key players in the Syrian conflict, claims responsibility for the crime.

“Without a doubt, what happened in Paris last night, cannot fail to affect the present atmosphere, and the negotiation process,” Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said.

*Hype Following Friday’s Likely Paris False Flag* by Stephen Lendman Unsurprisingly, Western media ignored what has all the earmarks of a well-planned false flag – Washington perhaps complicit with France. Come right across the big pond…but make sure to leave your artillery at home. Owning firearms in France and using them for sport, hunting, and self-defense makes New York City laws look tame in comparison and there is no second amendment to protect the rights of French gun owners. Don't Thank Me for My Service, by Camillo Mac Bica

Nana’s Commentary:

All my life I loved fireworks. I would go to the 4th of July display every year that I could. I would lie down on the ground and just take it all in. Then I read about the impact that they have on some veterans. I stopped going.

I think that veterans should be given every single thing they need to make it back to civilian life and then given anything they ask for. They go off and fight a rich man’s war and come back to very poor treatment and little consideration for their PTSD. High rates of domestic abuse, drugs and alcohol use, homelessness, poverty and suicide should not even be mentioned in the same sentence when speaking of a Veteran.

I am totally against the barbarism of war, but if these folks are going to go out there and cause all kinds of devastation to themselves and others for the benefit of the elite, then the elite should take care of them to the utmost degree!! Any country that does not take care of its veterans is truly degenerate and completely lacking of empathy, gratitude or compassion. And that’s what I have to say about that!!

Don’t Thank Me for My Service
Sunday, 03 June 2012 08:23By Camillo Mac BicaTruthout | Op-EdI do not want to appear disrespectful or ungrateful, but should we meet on the street one day, do say “Hello,” or “Fine day” or other such nicety, but please do not thank me for “my service” as a United States Marine. I make this request because my service, as you refer to it, was basically, either to train to become a killer or to actually kill people and blow shit up.Now, that is not something for which a person should be proud nor thanked. In fact, it is regrettable, and for me a source of guilt and shame, something I will have to live with for the rest of my life, as the past cannot ever be undone. So, when you thank me for my service, it disturbs me … a lot. First off, it brings to mind my wasted youth and lost innocence, and the horrible and unnecessary deaths of good friends and comrades. Second, it reminds me of my responsibility and culpability for the pain and suffering I caused innocent people, again something I would rather forget, but cannot. Third, it reinforces my belief that you have absolutely no idea about the nature and reality of the wars in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, because if you did, you would understand that thanks are inappropriate. Fourth, it reminds me that many of those who feel the need to offer thanks were apathetic about – or even supportive of – the war, while they refuse to participate themselves or did little or nothing to end it. And lastly, I have to admit that I doubt the sincerity of these expressions of supposed gratitude, as “Thank you for your service” is just something to say not because you care about what I did or sacrificed, but only to demonstrate your supposed good character, or patriotism and/or “support” for members of the military and veterans.

In making this request not to be thanked for my service, I am, of course, expressing only my opinion, and, perhaps, my idiosyncrasy, and I make no claim to be speaking for other veterans. I would wager, however, that many, perhaps even most, who have experienced the horror of war and have the courage and presence of mind to think about and evaluate what the war they served in was truly about would understand and probably concur with this request. Those veterans, however, who may not agree, who cling to the mythology of heroism, glory, honor and nobility of war, do so in large measure from fear that acknowledging war’s reality would somehow diminish their sacrifice and the sacrifices of those whose lives were lost. Perhaps understandably, they view such sacrifices and loss as difficult enough to live with when they had value and purpose, and as intolerable if they were misguided and unnecessary. To these brothers and sisters, I would offer the following questions and observations for them to ponder.

First, what was accomplished by your sacrifice and by the waste of lives and treasure in Vietnam, in Iraq and in Afghanistan? Where is the honor, glory and nobility in killing and dying for greed, incompetence, and paranoia? Second, the mythology you cling to for comfort is a tool of political leaders to make war palatable, to garner support for their militarism and abandonment of diplomacy. It is what motivates future idealistic, perhaps naive, young people to “heed the call,” to seek honor and glory, by enlisting in the military to fight for a cause they have been deceived into believing is right, just and necessary, but which is, in reality, a string of wars for corporate greed, power and hegemony. All who are touched by war are tainted and require readjustment, perhaps even rehabilitation, but in order to truly come home from war, to make the perilous journey of healing, one must face the realities of one’s own war experience head on, as no healing is possible from fantasy, myth, rationalization and distortion of truth.

So, in the future, if you really insist on thanking me for something, do not thank me for

the eight years I spent as a Marine, but for the 45 or so years following my discharge from the military that I have spent as an activist fighting for human rights and social justice and to end the insanity of war. Frankly, however, I would prefer that you just say hello, or fine day or other such nicety. You see, my activism all these years warrants no praise or merit, as it is not something I choose to do. Rather, I do it because I must, perhaps as penance for my culpability for the sacrilege of war. And if you truly want to demonstrate your good character, patriotism, and support for the troops and veterans, rather than merely mouth meaningless expressions of gratitude for something you don’t truly understand or care much about, do something meaningful and real. Do what is truly in the interest of this nation and of those victimized by war.

Make some demands.

“how can we still have troops in other countries and we celebrate with “bombs”… it would be lovely if we decided not to do them in honor to our troops… That would be a great way to say THANK YOU!”

Demand, for example, an immediate end to the corporate takeover of our “democracy” and to the undue influence of the military-industrial-Congressional complex. Demand sanity in Pentagon spending and a reallocation of finite resources to people-focused programs such as health care, education and jobs rather than to killing and destruction. Demand an immediate end to wars for corporate profit, greed, power and hegemony. Demand that we adhere to the Constitution and to international law. Demand accountability for those who make war easily and care more for wealth, profit and power than for national interest or for the welfare of their fellow human beings. And finally, demand the troops be brought home now, and that they be adequately treated and cared for when they return. So, should we meet on the street one day, do say Hello, or Fine day, and as you talk to me about your efforts to make this country and the world a better and more peaceful place in which to live, I would be happy to thank you for your service.

Swastikas Are Cross Cultural

7,000-Year-Old Swastika Pottery Discovered

A pottery fragment with the image of a swastika, dating to 7,000 years ago, and an ancient female adornment with a phallus are among the artifacts shown for the first time as part of the on-going exhibition “Gods, Symbols and Ancient Signs” in the museum in Vratsa in north-western Bulgaria.

The swastika-decorated clay pottery fragment was found by archaeologists during excavations of a ritual pit around the village of Altimir near the town of Vratsa.

The ancient find dates back to before the Copper Age and was used prominently by  many civilizations for many millennia.  This find adds to the notion that this symbol traverses the globe as well as the centuries and cannot be linked solely to Hitler’s party, archaeologists explained.

If you want to see just how deeply rooted the swastika pattern is in Europe, a good place to start is Kiev where the National Museum of the History of Ukraine has a small ivory figurine of a female bird. Made from the tusk of a mammoth, it was found in 1908 at the Paleolithic settlement of Mezin near the Russian border. On the torso of the bird is engraved an intricate pattern of joined up swastikas. It’s the oldest identified swastika pattern in the world and has been radio carbon-dated to an astonishing 15,000 years ago.

The Aztec and the ancient Mayan civilizations used the powerful symbol on burial mounds, clothing, and jewelry.

In Europe, such symbols can be found in Roman catacombs, in churches, on plaza stones, and graves. Although it was commonly used all over much of the world without stigma and still occurs widely in religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism, the swastika has become stigmatized in the Western world, because of its iconic usage in Nazi Germany.

Hiroshi Ōshima, the former Japanese Ambassador to Germany during the NAZI political era, believed that the noble castes in Japan, the Daimyo and the Samurai, were descended from gods of celestial origin, which was similar to Himmler’s own belief that “the Nordic race did not evolve, but came directly down from heaven to settle on the Atlantic continent.”

A swastika (卐) crossed by two arrows, within a shield and surmounted by a royal crown on an orange background was used as the coat of arms of the Samurai Hasekura Tsunenaga in the early 17th century.

The swastika symbol is a very commonly displayed and can also be seen, turning in either direction, on ancient Greek and Roman artifacts, often minted on the world’s oldest known coins.

The Anasazi people built dwellings in caves and recesses in canyon walls throughout the southwest United States from 1500 B.C. to 1350 A.D. They left many red-haired Caucasoid mummies with swastika artifacts, and even have a site called “Mummy Cave”, however any further study on their remains is prohibited.

Anasazi is a Navajo word that means “ancient stranger”, “enemy ancestor”, or “ancient enemy.” The Navajo Indians began occupying the area in the early 1700s, and also prominently used the Swastika.

In 1940, four tribes of Arizona Indians, the Navajos, Papagos, Apaches, and Hopis, banned the use of their ancient traditional swastika symbol from all designs in their basket weaving and blanket making.

Carved out of volcanic rock in eastern Africa, these are the famous cross-shaped churches of Lalibela, Ethiopia. According to Ethiopian legend, they were built by angels, and are filled with swastika symbols.

In the middle east there are examples such as the Golden Rhyton and a beautiful gold necklace of Swastikas found in Northern Iran, dating back 3,000 years to the first millennium B.C.

The site of Samarra lies about 60 miles north of modern Bhagdad. On the left below is a dish with four (4) women composing a Swastika, Samarra period (fifth millennium B.C.) The Iraqi Museum – Baghdad. On the right below is The Samarra bowl (5000 BC), at the Pergamonmuseum, Berlin.

The snake diety of the Maya was Kukulkan (“Plumed Serpent”, “Feathered Serpent”), also known as  Quetzalcoatl to the Aztec.

In Peru this ancient blue eyed bearded sun-god was called Amaru and the territory known as Amaruca.

Amaruca is literally translated “Land of the Serpents”. Some anthropologists have sided with locals and claimed that the name of America was derived from Amaruca, instead of after the explorer Amerigo Vespucci.

This theory may sound controversial or unlikely to some, but what is irrefutable is that their civilization widely used, and held reverence for, the swastika symbol; the same symbol found spread out all over the world since the dawn of time… but by whom?

Pasted from: http://atlanteangardens.blogspot.com/2014/04/7000-year-old-swastika-pottery.html

The Swastika (also known as the gammadion cross, cross cramponnée, or wanzi) (as a character: 卐 or 卍) is a symbol that generally takes the form of an equilateral cross, with its four legs bent at 90 degrees.[1][2] It is considered to be a sacred and auspicious symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism.

It has been used as a decorative element in various cultures since at least the Neolithic, and is found on a man’s tunic depicted in a Roman mosaic at the Villa Romana del Casale in Sicily. It also appears on a mosaic floor at the Lullingstone Roman Villa in Kent, England. It is known most widely as an important symbol long used in Indian religions, denoting “auspiciousness.” It was adopted as such in pre-World War I-Europe and later, and most notably, by the Nazi Party and Nazi Germany prior to World War II. In many Western countries, the swastika has been highly stigmatized because of its use in and association with Nazism. It continues to be commonly used as a religious symbol in Hinduism and Buddhism.

Western literature’s older term for the symbol, gammadion cross, derives mainly from its appearance, which is identical to four Greek gamma letters affixed to each other.[5] The name swastika comes from the Sanskrit word svastika (Devanagari: स्वस्तिक), meaning “lucky or auspicious object”.

The #BlackLivesMatter organization is now part of the 2016 Democratic Party election machinery, assuming its role as a power broker on behalf of Black people. It’s a familiar historical pattern, except for the speed with which the transition has taken place. “The #BLM philosophy is that therapeutic dialogue with members of the power elite is politically more effective than the presentation of core demands.”

#BlackLivesMatter: Chat Partners with Hilllary

by BAR executive editor Glen Ford

“When #BLM folks claim they have ‘lots’ of demands, it actually means they have no core demands, at all.”

The best thing that could be said about the #BlackLivesMatter Campaign Zero team is that they are an embarrassment, political tourists in the halls of empire. The truth is, however, much worse. In two meetings with Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton, they have offered no demands worthy of the name, choosing instead to imagine that they are “pushing” Clinton and the Democratic Party into some stance advantageous to Black people. In reality, the #BlackLivesMatter clique has dissipated the energy – and threat – of angry Black bodies, hands and missiles in motion in Ferguson and Baltimore. Quickly fading is the specter of a Black movement from down below that struck real fear in the Obama administration and much of the U.S. power structure. Instead, #BlackLivesMatter provides harmless chat partners for Hillary and the other presidential hopefuls.

The #BLM operatives claim they “spent months” studying Clinton’s positions on the issues, in preparation for the meeting. Why? To gauge how far they could “move” the war criminal and corporate thief? Move her towards what? Campaign Zero’s “demands” are an eclectic assortment of criminal justice reform ideas and recommendations, many of them straight out of Obama’s presidential task force on policing, and borrowed “best-practice” police procedures (Seattle is their favorite department). When #BLM folks claim they have “lots” of demands, it actually means they have no core demands, at all.

“#BlackLivesMatter provides harmless chat partners for Hillary and the other presidential hopefuls.”

The Democrats scoped them as political assets, early on: that’s why the Democratic National Committee overwhelmingly voted to “endorse [3]” #BlackLivesMatter back in August. The trio of #BLM founders, Patrisse Cullors, Opal Tometi, and Alicia Garza, formally rejected [4] the official DNC embrace, but the #BLM’s chat-and-tweet-squads have continued to make the Democrats look good by pretending to hold them accountable through meaningless, meandering, demand-less meetings.

DeRay Mckesson, Brittany Packnett, Johnetta Elzie, Cherno Biko and Samuel Sinyangwe provided Hillary Clinton with another useful backdrop [5], last week. They appear to believe their mission was to “educate” Clinton (although they would have done far better to have educated themselves on political movement history, practice and theory). “This was an opportunity to get input from black people, who are experts of their own lives, solutions to dismantling anti-black racist institutions and policies,” Johnetta Elzie told reporters. #BLM thinks that relaying the recommendations of an Obama task force to a former Obama Secretary of State equals providing “solutions to dismantling anti-black racist institutions and policies.”

“They appear to believe their mission was to ‘educate’ Clinton.”

Actually, the #BLM crew’s primary mission was to force Clinton to mentally grapple with white privilege, and to grasp how Black people “feel.” #BLM’s aim is to assure that the next president has a deeper understanding of the workings of racism – presumably, deeper than the current, Black one. In the course of the conversation, Elzie said Clinton “…would listen and acknowledge that her experience was totally different than any of the black people at this table. It took her awhile to get there, but she got there. So I’m hopeful that she will continue to have this educational conversation with herself to acknowledge her privilege. You saying that you know that you’re white, you know that you have power, and you know that you are wealthy is not the same as seeing it and knowing that the way that police interact with you is completely different than how they will ever interact with us.”

The #BLM philosophy is that therapeutic dialogue with members of the power elite is politically more effective than the presentation of core demands. (Certainly, it is better for the future careers of the #BLM interlocutors.)

When it came to actually doing something about the Black condition, Clinton was less forthcoming. “I think she can take a harder stance on how she understands the role of the federal government in protecting the rights of people of color and pushing and modeling for local and state governments,” said DeRay Mckesson. “She kind of downplayed the role of the federal government and placed it all on state and local government,” said Johnetta Elzie.

Clinton used the meeting to announce her opposition to private prisons – which may have come as a shock to her campaign contributors from Wall Street’s corporate incarceration firms.

Elzie offered that Bernie Sanders has a better understanding of Black people’s justifiable fears of police. She and McKesson told the press they would wait to see more specifics from Clinton before deciding who to support. Cherno Biko said Clinton “hasn’t earned my endorsement yet, but I’m looking forward to her releasing a racial justice platform in the coming weeks.” Brittany Packnett emerged from the meeting “still thinking about where I will put my vote and not yet having an answer.”

“The #BLM crowd milked the incipient movement for all it was worth.”

They will all endorse one of the Democrats, sooner rather than later. The #BlackLivesMatter tent has already been folded up inside the Democratic Party, where slick Black “activists” on the make go to catch the express elevator to the executive suites. In less than a year, the #BLM crowd milked the incipient movement for all it was worth, presenting themselves as the interlocutors between the streets and Power. It’s been one hell of a journey – a great hustle. They have arrived at where they wanted to be: part of the age-old Black Petit Bourgeois Shuffle, dancing to the Master’s tune, while complaining that their pale partners still don’t have the right rhythm.

The demand from the streets remains the same as it has been since the imposition of the modern Black mass incarceration regime, two generations ago: Black community control of the police – by any means necessary. The Black Is Back Coalition for Social Justice [6], Peace and Reparations will rally and march on the White House onSaturday, November 7 [6] – as it has every year since 2009 – under the banner “Black Power Matters.”

The demand for Black community control of police is called forth by both the principle of self-determination and the facts of Black existence in the United States. But self-determination does not exist in the practice of #BlackLivesMatter, which has squandered Black people’s dignity and the momentum of an emerging movement.

We wish them a swift and complete assimilation into the corridors of Power – which was their mission, all along.

Warhawks: U.S. Officially in "Proxy War" with Russia, Putin Is the New Hitler

Warhawks: U.S. Officially in “Proxy War” with Russia, Putin Is the New Hitler

The irony of this whole thing is that Putin has more reason to defend Syria against ISIS than any other Western nation because Russia’s borders and Russia’s interests are closer to the mark. Anglo-American interests merely lie on dollars and cents, but Russia due to its close proximity has a stronger case in  its right to wipe out ISIS.

Alternatively, the US launched this so-called war on Terror. In doing so, it opened the door for any Nation who feels threatened to launch such a war, not only within its borders but outside of its borders as well. The US and it’s allies in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Qatar and Egypt have all done the bidding of the West in adding their resources in this so-called War on Terror. But now that Russia wants to get into the act, they flip the switch and throw blame at Russia for doing exactly what the US and its allies have felt was their right and that is bomb foreign people in foreign countries half way around the world.

To me, the reality is, them fat folks who don’t fight on the front lines, want to instigate another confrontation to CYA, a lose, lose strategy of suicide. To hell with the soldiers, their families and loved ones, to hell with the infrastructure of Syria, to hell with the immigrant crisis, to hell with the US deficit and its inability to channel these billions into the American economy, tell hell with it all! The US can not stand to be upstaged by somebody ELSE trying to be the world’s next super power.

Reminds me of the old “QuickDraw McGraw” cartoon and what he would say whenever Baba Louie had an idea. He would retort, “Baba Louie, I’ll do the thinnin around here and doooonnnnn’t you for get IT!!”

 Quickdraw McGraw – 1×12 – Six-Gun Spookhttp://www.toon.is/quickdraw-mcgraw-1×12-six-gun-spook-video_ad6f3d0e4.html@ 3:12 “I’ll do the thinning around here, and doooon’t you forget it!”Quickdraw McGraw – 6 Gun Spook

Baba Looey to the Rescue

Quick Draw McGraw was a cartoon horse with a red cowboy hat and a blue scarf. He played a sheriff in the wild, wild, West. The character was voiced by the inimitable Daws Butler.

His sidekick and deputy, Baba Looey, was a donkey whose accent reminded one of Ricky Ricardo of I Love Lucy fame. His name was spun off Ricardo’s famous song, Baba Lu.

As sheriff, Quick Draw made the decisions. Baba Looey, though often more reasoned, would be told when trying to interject a cogent idea, “I’ll do the thinning around here, and doooon’t you forget it!” Of course, Baba Looey was always right, and Quick Draw saved the day, in spite of himself.

Walking on two feet, like a human, Quick Draw had hoof-like hands, modified with fingers so he could hold his gun. He was so human-like, he even rode his own horse. Viewers were treated to the unlikely spectacle of a horse on a horse.

In another “persona,” Quick Draw could don a mask and become El-Kabong, a Zorro parody. As El-Kabong, he would subdue bandits by bashing them over the head with his guitar while simultaneously yelling,”KABONG!!!! His instrument never survived.

  • Before Putin Showed Up, 11 Other Countries Were Already Bombing Syria

  • TOPICS:Melissa DykesMiddle East

  • OCTOBER 12, 2015

  • By Melissa Dykes

  • Russia has struck over 110 ISIS targets in Syria in just two weeks. Over 40% of the Islamic State’s infrastructure has reportedly been destroyed already.

  • We lost track somewhere (sadly), but it was recently noted by Putin that, by the time Russia showed up and started systematically destroying ISIS in short order, there were already 11 other countries bombing Syria.

  • Eleven other countries…

  • In fact, it has been over a year since America started an airstrike campaign over there.

  • What does that tell you?

  • It hardly needs to be pointed out how blatantly obvious it is that, regardless of how many billions the American people were told just had to be spent “fighting the terrorists” over there, this was never for one hot second about the West actually stopping ISIS.

  • The only way that lie works is if the Western coalition is the most inept terror rescue team ever invented in the history of time.

  • Further, instead of applauding Putin’s timely and efficient intervention in Syria, the West is protesting Russia’s involvement and bombing of terrorists.

  • It’s as if they want the terrorists to win, isn’t it? If Assad gets deposed, then what? The terrorists take over? Yeah, that worked really well in Libya, Iraq, Egypt…

  • Meanwhile, NATO has dusted off and thoroughly updated its Cold War plans like giddy children at Christmas. Sure took them long enough to get their pretext to drag Russia into war, didn’t it?

Petro-Politics = Russian military operation in Syria bolsters oil market, domestic stocks

NANA’S COMMENTARY

LOL, it’s all about the war, the fighting, the blood and the gore that makes the stocks rise and the blood boil in delirium. Funny how war makes the cash registers ring and the banksters happy, they don’t care who does it, just do it!! what a mad, mad, mad world we live in.

Not to mention this has gone on far too long and those folks are jumping ship, thousands at a time and finding their way into Europe.

And the reality is, when the war comes home, somebody says, wth??? We thought they would just kill them all off there, and have mass graves to bury them in, why are they escaping and why the hell are they coming here, hey wait a minute, nobody told us this would be the “blowback”!!! What the f*****k? And we all know they ain’t gonna go live with the Queen, nor is she gonna provide them a sovereign land to live on, even though she is the biggest land owner in the world, and she ain’t gonna roll over Beethoven and open up the Taj Mahal for them to hang out in, and forget it, tent cities all over Europe is an eyesore.

Forget the xenophobia, the antisemitism, the urban blight, the destruction of our way of life….? Keep they arses over thar where they belong (misspelling for emphasis). Hahahahah, I can’t stop laughing at this debacle. But funnier than that is the next stupid nation that sides with these war criminals, thinking they are gonna get more than crumbs from the pie. SMDH, when will they ever learn……???

Oil prices have risen 12 percent in October to a two-month high. Rising crude coincides with Russia’s airstrikes against Islamic State targets in Syria which began on September 30.

The price of Brent in London increased over one percent to $53 per barrel on Friday. US benchmark WTI is trading higher than $50 per barrel for the first time in three months after hitting six-year lows in late August. Other factors contributing to rising oil prices include a weakened dollar and shrinking US production.

Crude prices can be particularly responsive to unrest or violence in the Middle East, one of world’s biggest oil-producing regions. While Syria does not have significant oil reserves, crude prices rise over fears the conflict could spread to the broader region.

“Syria is not a crude oil producer—its real significance to the energy markets is not a heightening of its ongoing internal conflict but rather the risk of contagion within the region at large,” the Wall Street Journal quotes NUS Consulting Group as saying.  Read More: https://www.rt.com/business/318097-russia-stocks-oil-ruble-syria/

Nana's Commentary – Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Migrants and Refugees

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver: Migrants and Refugees

The Neocon Cabal had the idea of destabilizing the so called Middle East, guess they didn’t pencil in the immigrant issue and the tent cities this destabilization would create. Seems even the UN was a little behind the ball in allowing these “wars on Terror” to continue unabated. Maybe they couldn’t think clearly cause they missed their morning coffee. But it seems to me, since they are working with a so-called Global Agenda, they would have thought of this especially considering the number of refugees that left Afghanistan and Iraq. Now we got, Syria, Libya, and Yemen to add to the mix.

It amazes me that the US and UK sought out Allies for their Global War on Terror, Allies who are all in Europe and the Middle East who would be the most impacted by the Exodus of people from war torn countries. This Exodus is taking place thousands of miles from America’s shores. Let their friends in Europe take the hit. That’s what friends are for? I guess they too will think twice before going along with the US and UK hidden agenda when it comes to the next “War On Terror”

Even if they return, which most of them want to do, what will they return to? An infrastructure completely destroyed, farmland destroyed, institutions of learning and religion destroy, livestock destroyed, and ins some cases the fall out from depleted uranium, etc. And the biggest purveyor of the “Lie” that hurled the world into war is least likely to take these immigrants in. Do I need to name names here?? I think not.

Millions of migrants seeking asylum in Europe face hostility, racism, and red tape. John Oliver does one admittedly tiny thing for one of them.
The notion that Europe’s population is decreasing in size was not a projection for Semitic people to come in and fill in the blanks. They want Europeans to increase their birth rate, they are afraid of annihilation or extinction of the European stock. That is the fundamental root cause of the hysteria. It’s racist and xenophobic. They do not wish to mix their seed with the seed of those coming from the Middle East no matter how much they profess to be Christians. To them these folks are Semitic and this is a form of antisemitism, quiet as it’s kept. They are also considered “brown” people and some of them are very dark “brown” especially coming from Yemen and Libya.

Extinction of European Population

 Islamic demographic threat for Europe

The Global Elite could care less about the inconvenience. They could care less about making sure these folks are carefully assimilated into these cultures. And for sure, their cultures are drastically different even in the case of those who are receiving them with open arms. The Cultural and language differences are going to be staggering. The immigrants may be able to adopt the language but they will have a difficult time with the food and customs. They need support from folks who speak their language, understand their customs and eat their food. Without that type of intervention and engineering, we will be looking at tent cities for some time. In fact, mass migrations have often lead to just that as can be seen in situations of natural disasters, #Katrina, #Haiti and on and on.

We live in a world lead by greedy psychopaths who could care less about the consequences of their actions and the impact it has on others. As long as their bellies are full, their homes in good repair, their water running and electricity working, their fine cars and clothes, they could care less about what happens to the other 99%.

Agenda 21 The Depopulation Agenda For a New World Order

This is a major crisis and cannot be taken care of with a bandade or two. It should be taken care of by the very ones who orchestrated this hegemony in the first place. They have billions for bombs and tearing up shit, but they don’t have money to save lives or to enhance the “others” way of life. No time, no policy, no desire, unless of course it is going to somehow enrich them in some way.

It is a totally sad state of affairs. Where’s FEMA with their trailers when you need them. (Snark!!)

Planet Earth, the Pyramid Culture

This isn’t exactly true. Check out this link.  http://world-pyramids.com/en/world-pyramids/europe/#.VgQoRSv-V94

But to me what is more important is the realization that there are pyramids all over this planet in every section of the planet, occupying places/cities far and wide. It makes me ponder at the agenda for having them all over. In different places they were used for different purposes, but it can’t be ignored that they are every where.

My question is why do we have a planet covered with pyramids. Is there some “other’ mystical reason for these megalithic structures. And we must not forget Stonehenge in Europe. Or the huge round balls in Bosnia.

I have read some studies about the Earth energetic being with a giant grid and the pyramids act like conduits to connect the energy i.e., primary nodal point of ever sacred spot on the planet are connected on this grid.  And that quite possibly it is these conduits that keep this planet under lock down. In fact the pyramid grid also shows the placement of great churches, synagogues and Mosques on these primary and sub-primary nodal points. These placements are no accident. Why in the advent of the Pyramids have practically megalithic places of worship been erected?

Before we go into the “my dog’s bigger than your dog” debate, we need to look deeper into the real reason and purpose for having a “dog” in the first place.

Is it just to say how magnificent the civilization was? If so, why are we left with just remnants.

Are they there for comparison and to determine the strength, value, heroism, quality of life than another culture?

Are they simply tourist sites and have no contemporary value or significance?

Why have they been discovered to have Astrological, Metaphysical and even Earth based indicators that have people coming to them from all over the world to observe, and/or be enchanted by them?

Who put them there in the first place? Are we saying that primitive people with stone tools built these structures in the time it would take modern day man to do over decades.. Maybe even longer than that? Are we even being told the truth about their origins and purpose and if so, why would one be used to feed the gods and another to sacrifice the lives of virgins to the gods? Why?

I think if we just take a moment and get over ourselves and realize what it took to even put these stone megaliths in place, the labor, the manpower down to the destruction of a neighboring environment it should cause us to stop and think. How do we know that removing all them big rocks and stones, didn’t cause great floods, or disruption of the Eco-system.

What I am proposing is that we take a little more time before we make a supposition and see what we can research on this and find out what these pyramids really mean and what use do they hold for us in modern times.

In closing I suggest that we live on a planet that has been structured by a particular Architect or assembly of Architects with an express purpose of creating a model, specific to this planet. Thus they have transplanted a pyramid culture that impacts on all life on this planet and any life that observes this planet. These pyramids are telling the Solar System, the Galaxy and the Universe we live in, who we are, how we got here and why we are here. This entire planet is a pyramid civilization,  a pyramid culture (see Mars Pyramids).

When the true purpose of these facts are studied with an objective eye, we may come to “See” what the “Others” see when observing this planet and the life forms upon it.

COMMENTS:

“Well, there are some Pyramids in Europe. Maybe not as massive and impressive as the ones in Egypt, but they are there

Here are some examples :

The Bosnian Pyramid, Visocica Hill – Bosnia   http://www.bosnianpyramid.com/

Greek Pyramids – Greece   http://www.hiddenmys…ekpyramids.html

The Pyramids of Montevecchia – Italy   http://www.crystalin…m/pyritaly.html

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_pyramids

http://www.crystalin…amidfrance.html……..”

“These are definitely pyramids, but authentic I don’t think so.  The only and most important reason why these pyramids do not share the world stage with the other pyramids is because they lack the astrological precision that the Egyptians and Mayans had in their Pyramids.  The one in Italy is the closest, but only in alignment configuration~it still lacks alignment with the heavens, reducing it to a duplicate.  Pyramids without the astrological factor prove that their makers had no understanding of its purpose.  My post was made in reference to the real deal pyramids, not the duplicates.”

http://world-pyramids.com/en/world-pyramids/europe/#.VgQ0Eyv-V94

“It is true Europe doesn’t have the same types of pyramids that the Egyptians and South Americans do, but they have the Henges that work in the same way. The Henges can still be used today. Maybe the ancient Europeans didn’t like the look or the shape of the pyramid. The South American pyramid is in a slightly different shape than the ones in Egypt.”

“There are also a couple in the US, though they are more correctly “mounds” – Cahokia in Illinois and Etowahin Georgia.

Neither is on the scale of the pyramids of Egypt or elsewhere, but both exhibit some astronomical alignments.”

“Or… we can look at what the geologists who’ve been out there have said: That they are hills. They’ve removed all the first and vegetation (how would it get on top of a large manmade structure anyway?) and have been using the remains of the Roman Villa, a medical era cemetery, and in some instances have been caught hoaxing inscriptions to show evidence of a culture.

Robert Schoch, a well known proponent of a much earlier date for the pyramids at Giza, investigated the site and reported that inscriptions appeared in a cave that had not been there to begin with.

All evidence points to it being a natural formation, and is based soley of of Osmanagić’s feeling that it has to be a pyramid.   Geology of the Bosnian Pyramids

“There are quite a few seemingly.

Silbury Hill, Wiltshire has been carbon-dated at 2660 years BC, the same era as the Giza pyramids. It contains an estimated 340,000 cubic metres of chalk and earth, rising to a height of 39.6 metres. The base of the monument is 167m in diameter and it is perfectly round. The flat top is 30m across. It is part of a sequence of ancient sites in the area that are in alignment.

Despite its external appearance, this is actually a step pyramid, consisting of six, six metre high steps. The steps are walled with blocks of chalk, which easily deteriorates when left exposed. Consequently the builders preserved it, by covering it with earth and grass.

Excavations have revealed that it is not a burial mound.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1324111/Silbury-Hill-mound-solved–It-accident.html

http://www.mysteriousplaces.it/sardinia_montedaccoddi.html

There is also an omphalos stone there which is always of interest to me. Ziggurats (a ziggurat: that is a kind of pyramid, but with “steps” – several storeys, each smaller than the one below. ) are far more practical and impressive than pyramids imo and should never be considered inferior not that you or anyone has said so but this is a misconception that I’ve encountered on occasions. I mean what can you do with a pyramid other than use it as a tomb?”

Difference between Pyramids and Ziggurats

Few sights-or sites for that matter-can compare to the grandeur and majesty of the Ziggurats and the Pyramids. If you are looking to get a feel for the ancient civilizations on your next trip or vacation, few destinations can compare to these two for sheer historical value. Of course determining which one of these two is the “best” is an exercise in futility, as each will have its own merits and drawbacks. It would perhaps be better to point out their key attributes in the interest of helping you make a more informed decision and that is precisely what this comparison aims to do.

The Smash of Civilizations by Chalmers Johnson
[Extracted from Chalmers Johnson’s Nemesis: The Crisis of the American Republic, forthcoming from Metropolitan Books in late 2006, the final volume in the Blowback Trilogy. The first two volumes are Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire (2000) and The Sorrows of Empire: Militarism, Secrecy, and the End of the Republic (2004)]In the months before he ordered the invasion of Iraq, George Bush and his senior officials spoke of preserving Iraq’s “patrimony” for the Iraqi people. At a time when talking about Iraqi oil was taboo, what he meant by patrimony was exactly that — Iraqi oil. In their “joint statement on Iraq’s future” of April 8, 2003, George Bush and Tony Blair declared, “We reaffirm our commitment to protect Iraq’s natural resources, as the patrimony of the people of Iraq, which should be used only for their benefit.” In this they were true to their word. Among the few places American soldiers actually did guard during and in the wake of their invasion were oil fields and the Oil Ministry in Baghdad. But the real Iraqi patrimony, that invaluable human inheritance of thousands of years, was another matter. At a time when American pundits were warning of a future “clash of civilizations,” our occupation forces were letting perhaps the greatest of all human patrimonies be looted and smashed.

Coalition soldiers in front of the Great Ziggurat of Ur, a four-thousand-year-old temple in southern Iraq which is one of the archaeological treasures of the world. The military has placed the monument off limits in order to disguise the vandalism by U.S. soldiers, including the looting of clay bricks and spray-painting “Semper Fi” onto its walls

There have been many dispiriting sights on TV since George Bush launched his ill-starred war on Iraq — the pictures from Abu Ghraib, Falluja laid waste, American soldiers kicking down the doors of private homes and pointing assault rifles at women and children. But few have reverberated historically like the looting of Baghdad’s museum — or been forgotten more quickly in this country.

In archaeological circles, Iraq is known as “the cradle of civilization,” with a record of culture going back more than 7,000 years. William R. Polk, the founder of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Chicago, says, “It was there, in what the Greeks called Mesopotamia, that life as we know it today began: there people first began to speculate on philosophy and religion, developed concepts of international trade, made ideas of beauty into tangible forms, and, above all developed the skill of writing.” No other places in the Bible except for Israel have more history and prophecy associated with them than Babylonia, Shinar (Sumer), and Mesopotamia — different names for the territory that the British around the time of World War I began to call “Iraq,” using the old Arab term for the lands of the former Turkish enclave of Mesopotamia (in Greek: “between the [Tigris and Eurphrates] rivers”). Most of the early books of Genesis are set in Iraq (see, for instance, Genesis 10:10, 11:31; also Daniel 1-4; II Kings 24).

The pyramids at Giza, belonging (from the right) to Khufu (also known as Cheops), Khaefre (Khephren) and Menkaure (Mykerinus)

4th Dynasty

The pyramids at Giza, on the outskirts of modern Cairo, are perhaps the most iconic of all Egyptian monuments, and they mark the high point in the engineering skills first displayed by Imhotep in the previous dynasty. The largest, the Great Pyramid, shown here furthest from the camera, remains the most massive freestanding monument ever raised by humankind.

The 4th Dynasty was the period at which many of the institutions of the state appeared in mature form, and the art of this dynasty became firmly established in the canons that would endure until the end of Egyptian civilisation.

Alien Base Found At Chinese Pyramid

Nine university scientists gaped upwards at the gigantic, prehistoric pyramid that had no right to exist

A team of daring Chinese researchers, digging into the ancient mysteries of the origin of their country, have come to the inescapable conclusion that 12,000 years ago, an interstellar supreme alien race used much of the northern and central Chinese regions as massive Earth bases.

NB Commentary: Why Do We Watch People Die?

NB Commentary: Why Do We Watch People Die?

See video below

It’s called a Death Culture, not only is the fascination with seeing someone give up the ghost, but then we try to hold on to the dead, through grieving, massive funerals, morticians, memorials, tombstones, insurance policies, etc. In some cultures, they actually dig the bodies up, redress them in their finest, put them on display and then bury them again. Imagine that!

It certainly is part of the human condition cross-culturally because this fascination with death and it’s aftermath is played out all over the world. Who genetically engineered that into our DNA that we find death and dying to be such a phenomenon rather than birth and living!

I do realize that there are some cultures that see Death as just another part of life, that is, they see the immortality of the Soul and that while the person is physically dead, their Soul lives on to re-incarnate according to some, and then to go to heaven/hell according to others.

Whatever the case may be.. it is a fascination and most likely fear of the unknown that pulls us into these scenarios. Nobody “has come back” to tell us what it was like, some say, so we may be vicariously dying and being reborn with the individual. There is an immediate denial when we hear of someone dying. Maybe that’s part of keeping them alive, or having them alive after death.

One more thing, we as a western culture have been desensitized about death as well. Even though we may know that it is “REAL” while we are watching it on TV it probably doesn’t register cause the stuff on TV isn’t real, at least that’s what we tell our children when they show signs of being horrified by the blood and gore they see on TV and in the movies.

The Seth Material says, birth is more traumatic than death but for some reason we just don’t get it. Besides, if we did…. imagine the stock market crash that would cause.
In the final analysis, I would say trace it back, follow the money and how the Money Changers create streams of income off of our fear of dying. Think about it. It could very well be “just for the money”, the energy, the keeping the Blood suckers alive.

I always found it interesting that after a movie filled with blood, gore, death, tragedy, etc., if there were any animals in the movie, it would be followed by a disclaimer, “No Animals Were Injured In This Presentation” but they never say….
“Neither was any human…..”

Interesting.

The Truth Seeker's Guide: The Star Trek Conspiracy – Part One

The Star Trek Conspiracy – Part One

“Space… the final frontier!”

These four instantly recognizable words will forever be associated with the phenomenon known as Star Trek. Six shows (a total of 726 episodes) and 11 feature length movies later, the effect of this sci-fi landmark on the minds of millions cannot be underestimated. So powerful is it’s sway, that it has shaped academic careers, created new languages, influenced global policies and created a vision of the future where war,
poverty and hatred has been eliminated and all of humanity is equal.

So what happens when the suggestion is raised that not everything about this behemoth is what it appears to be? As with all things that fall into the sphere of mythical archetypes and cults of personality, questioning  intent and purpose can be akin to sticking your head inside a bees nest! Holding up mass values and perceptions to the cold light of day can (at best) trigger an instant denial reaction or (at worst) the threat of reprisals. Just take a look at the mass reaction to the ‘Faux Paul’  research in relation to The Beatles…

A superficial look at the possible hidden aspects of Star Trek won’t get you very far. Many of the knee jerk reactions consider that the ‘proof’ can be found in relation to various religious agendas (Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry’s Baptist upbringing in relation to the TV industry in the 1960s) although (in reality) there is very little evidence to substantiate these claims. This doesn’t mean that the idea of a Star Trek ‘agenda’ is unfounded though. In order to get an idea of a possibly larger picture, one needs to play a game of ‘degrees of separation’.
Some may say that doing this only shows a bunch of coincidences, but I encourage any open minded person to look at these factors carefully before drawing conclusions.

The first place to start is with Gene Roddenberry. Was he a Freemason?! Many speculate (and even state) that he was a 33rd degree of the Scottish rite, although there appears to be no obvious evidence in this case.
However, this doesn’t rule out a Freemasonic association entirely. It does seem interesting that the initial names of both the ship and captain have some significance. Roddenberry wanted to stick with Captain Pike (a name synonymous with Freemasonry: Albert Pike) although this link is tenuous. More interesting though is the ship itself. Roddenberry was determined, for a considerable amount of time, to name the vessel “Constitution”. Those who have looked into Freemasonic history will know that on March 17th, 1926, Major General Henry Knox lodge was constituted on the gun deck of the US Navy ship “USS Constitution”. More importantly, this was the only Lodge in the world ever to be instituted on an active ship of war. Although the starship name eventually became
“Enterprise”, the ship remained a “constitution class starship”.

STARTREK ORIGINAL SERIES PILOT — THE CAGE a.k.a. THE MENAGERIE
The Star Trek The Original Series 2-part episode, The Menagerie, was reworked fom the show’s actual 1965 pilot epsiode named The Cage. The Menagerie was aired in November of 1966. A group of small telepathic aliens very reminiscent of the little grey aliens that dominate today’s commercial market, hold Captain Pike a prisoner. The Star trek series, of course, went on to be a huge success. In a rare interview on the paranormal radio show Coast to Coast A.M. Art Bell interviewed Leonard Nimoy who played the alien character Spock. Leonard Nimoy told him, “When we were making the Star Trek series the first season — middle of the first season — some people came to me and they said, ‘You may not know it, but you have been chosen as a kind of a vessel to carry information to this civilization to help prepare this society for the coming of another civilization for alien arrival and your character is a character designed to educate this public  that there is nothing to fear, that it is possible to interact with other species’, and I said, ‘Ok, it’s ok with me if that’s the case.’ ”

STAR TREK VOYAGER — CODA

Star Trek Voyager – In the Star Trek Voyager episode Coda, Captain Janeway is almost fooled by an alien into thinking she has died. The alien poses as her father, imploring her to follow him into the light. She is suspicious of his intentions and refuses.
JANEWAY: That’s the real me, isn’t it, lying on the ground on that planet, dying, and this is the hallucination. This isn’t real.
ALIEN: More denial. You’re only making it harder on yourself.
JANEWAY: You’re trying very hard to convince me to come with you. Why is that? If what you’re saying is true, why not let me come to the decision on my own?
ALIEN: I’m trying to spare you unnecessary pain.
JANEWAY: My father would never act like this. He always believed I had to learn my own lessons, make my own mistakes. He never tried to shield me from life. Why would he try to shield me from death? You’re not my father. I could be imagining you, but I don’t think so. You have such a specific agenda. You’re determined that I go with you somewhere. Who are you?
ALIEN: I’m trying to help you. Stop fighting me.
JANEWAY: Are you an alien being of some kind? Is that it?
[Planet Surface]
CHAKOTAY: Her eyes are open.
EMH: Vital signs are responding. Blood pressure is sixty over thirty.
TUVOK: But the entity is still inhabiting her cerebral cortex, impeding your treatment.
CHAKOTAY: Kathryn, hang on. We’re bringing you back. Just fight a little longer.
EMH: Direct synaptic stimulation might drive out the alien presence.
[Mess hall]
JANEWAY: I was right. I heard Tuvok and Chakotay and the Doctor. You’re an alien. You’ve created all these hallucinations, haven’t you?
ALIEN: This is what my species does. At the moment just before death one of us comes down to help you understand what’s happening, to make the crossing over an occasion of joy.
JANEWAY: And what is that?
ALIEN: Our Matrix, where your consciousness will live. I was being truthful when I said it was a place of wonder. It can be whatever you want it to be.
JANEWAY: Then why didn’t you tell me this from the beginning? Why pretend to be my father.
ALIEN: Usually people are comforted to see their loved ones. It makes the crossing over a much less fearful occasion. I’ve done this many times, but I’ve never encountered someone so resistant.
[Planet Surface]
EMH: Something’s happened. The alien presence is getting stronger again.
CHAKOTAY: Fight it, Kathryn, just a little longer.
EMH: I’ll have to try a thoron pulse.
[Mess hall]
JANEWAY: My people are telling me to fight. They’re trying to save me.
ALIEN: They’re trying out of desperation. It’s hopeless.
JANEWAY: You’re the one who sounds desperate. I don’t get the feeling you’re trying to make me comfortable. You’re only interested in my agreeing to come with you.
ALIEN: Because it’s inevitable.
JANEWAY: And you don’t strike me as any type of Good Samaritan. You’re more like a vulture, preying on people at the moment of their death when they’re at their most vulnerable.
ALIEN: I’ve waited for you. I’ve been patient.
JANEWAY: But your patience is wearing thin. What’s the real reason you want me in that Matrix? Somehow I don’t think it has anything to do with everlasting joy.
ALIEN: You must go with me.
JANEWAY: If you could force me to go, you’d have done it already. You need me to agree, don’t you? I have to go voluntarily.
ALIEN: Wouldn’t that be better than standing here in this endless debate?
JANEWAY: Let me tell you this. We can stand here for all eternity and I will never choose to go with you.
ALIEN: You’re in a dangerous profession, Captain. You face death everyday. There’ll be another time and I’ll be waiting. Eventually you’ll come into my Matrix and you will nourish me for a long, long, time.
JANEWAY: Go back to hell, coward.
Afterwards, Captain Janeway discusses the encounter with one of her crew.
CHAKOTAY: I can understand that. I can’t help thinking about it. That alien, his Matrix, he was like the spider that has to lure a fly into his web.
JANEWAY: Do you think it’s possible that each of the near death experiences we’ve heard about are the result of an alien inhabitation?
