By Oladeinde OlawoyinJolted back to reality by the presence of this reporter having been dozing off for what appeared the whole day, Lawal Azeez sprang to his feet to make enquiries about this reporter’s intended destination. Mr. Azeez was later joined by his colleagues, a group of old and middle-aged men. With desperation written boldly on their faces, they all scrambled amongst themselves to gain the attention of this reporter, whom they had erroneously identified as a potential passenger..But the reporter’s response, detailing his mission at the park, would later dash their hope, and they all wobbled back to their respective positions, awaiting the arrival of another passenger.Mr. Azeez, 49, and his colleagues are taxi operators. But like others at the taxi park located around the Central Business District, CBD, Ikeja, their business has been disrupted by the activities of Uber operators. Uber is an internet-enabled, relatively stress-free transportation system that allows passengers order for cabs wherever they are at fairly cheaper cost. The system, which started around 2014, has been widely accepted by internet-savvy Nigerians who prefer it for comfort and safety purposes. “Ah, Uber people have spoilt business for us; I must confess,” said a disgruntled Mr. Azeez, when probed by PREMIUM TIMES.”To be frank, I didn’t make a kobo yesterday. These days, in a whole week, you may not get N5,000… which wasn’t the situation before now,” he lamented. When asked to give a rough estimate of how much he used to make daily before the alleged ‘disruption’ by Uber drivers, the Ogun State-born taxi driver said he couldn’t give an exact estimate.”But I know we make something in the region of ten-thousand plus daily on the average,” he said.”But as I speak to you, if you make N5,000, you must thank your stars. You, too, must have noticed it from the atmosphere here… imagine how everywhere appears deserted.”Mr. Azeez’s position was corroborated by another Taxi operator at the Ikeja CBD, Hassan Murphy. Mr. Murphy, 43, explained that the activities of Uber drivers have been a source of sorrow for them as they no longer get patronage like they did in the past.”If you notice, there are many taxis on ground here and their owners aren’t here. They’ve all gone home out of anger,” he said.”Many of them have been here for hours without seeing any passenger; they had to go.”Mr. Murphy, who claimed to have built a house from his taxi transport business, also lamented that the development has taken a toll on his responsibilities among family members and at the home front.”These days, people I used to give N20,000 in the past would count themselves lucky if I give them N3,000.”It has become so bad here in this park that in a whole week, it may not get to your turn to pick up passengers,” he said.”That’s apart from the fact that we pay dues too. They tax us N200 daily and N1,000 weekly, despite the poor patronage.” “RECKLESS, UNSUSTAINABLE BUSINESS MODEL”According to Messrs. Azeez and Murphy, although the business model adopted by Uber operators affects their business as taxi drivers, it is “reckless and unsustainable” even for the Uber operators.Explaining further, they noted that what Uber drivers charge their passengers as transport fare is “ridiculous”.”From here (CBD, Ikeja) to Maryland, Uber may charge N800,” said Mr. Murphy.”That’s nonsense. How do you maintain your big car and service it and realise what you will use to cater for yourself from that money?”For a trip to the Airport, they charge as low as N600 sometimes, while we charge N2,000 or N1,500.”See, let me tell you, unemployment is the reason people are into Uber. Ordinarily, the business is not sustainable,” he said.Mr. Azeez, on his part, agreed with his colleague, adding that many of the Uber operators are workers who got retrenched from companies due to the state of the economy. “Joblessness caused Uber, and it won’t last for long” he said.On his part, another taxi operator who identified himself simply as Baba Sanje, noted that Uber would soon fade into extinction, like other similar initiatives that came before it.”Uber met us on ground, they will leave us in the system. We have survived other similar competitors for decades. This ‘Yellow and Black’ (Lagos taxi) has nowhere to go,” he said in Yoruba. “TAXI, MORE SECURE”Speaking further, the taxi drivers told PREMIUM TIMES that their taxi system is more secure and safer for passengers than Uber.Citing a case of a passenger whose belonging was allegedly stolen by an Uber operator, Mr. Murphy explained that taxi drivers are more “loyal and trustworthy”.”Uber operators are ghost workers and they don’t have any union. Passengers don’t know them and you can’t even spot them from outside unlike us that have our ‘yellow and black’ identity,” he said. “We are more loyal and trustworthy. When people lose their materials, we give them back; Uber people don’t!”Mr. Azeez on his part added that Uber will soon fade away because, according to him, most of the operators are “running at a loss”.”Before Uber, there were Orange Cab, Easy Cab and Metro Taxi, they all folded up,” he said.”Yes, there also was Afro Cab… LSPC, RED cab, Easy Ride, Oga taxi… they folded up.”POD too came and folded up. But the ‘Yellow and Black’ taxi survived all of them. It will survive Uber too.” Uber drivers, however, disagree with the assessment by the taxi operators.Charles Daniels, a Uber driver, dismissed the account of the taxi drivers, saying they were pained by the popularity and acceptability of the Uber system.”I won’t say Uber is really profitable, especially now, but it still provides food for some of us,” he said. Another Uber operator who declined to have his name in print, said in response to PREMIUM TIMES enquiry on how much they make: “You know, we charge very reasonable amount… so we don’t make huge figures like that… but it is something good… say thirty-something thousand naira or even more weekly.”That’s not too bad, I guess… and it still depends on days of the week and how energetic you are,” he added. PASSENGERS REACTHabeeb Adewale, 27, a regular user of Uber, who spoke with PREMIUM TIMES, explained that he prefers the system because of the ease it affords him to order for a cab wherever he is.”Wherever you are, Uber will locate you without stress,” said Mr. Adewale, a banker who lives and works in Lagos. Femi Owolabi, another Lagos-based passenger, said the system is cheaper and safer, especially for night crawlers.”Uber, preferably (because of) the comfort, and the timely service,” he told PREMIUM TIMES in an interview when asked about his preference. For James Abiola, an IT expert, the Uber system is preferable because of its cheaper cost and comfort.”Sometimes, Uber allows you comfortably ride an exotic car with less than a thousand naira,” he said, amid laughter. Authorities Release Dashcam Video of Philando Castile Killing Days After Ex-Cop’s Acquittal
EXCERPT: MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota police officer who pulled over Philando Castile politely told the driver that his brake lights were out and calmly instructed him not to pull out his handgun before suddenly drawing his own weapon and firing seven rounds into the car, a video released Tuesday showed.
The dashboard video taken from St. Anthony police Officer Jeronimo Yanez’s squad car illustrated how a simple traffic stop of a Black man shifted in an instant from a routine exchange to a deadly confrontation.
When Yanez opened fire, another officer near the car jumped back, and Yanez began yelling at the driver. As more police and an ambulance arrived, Yanez could be heard breathing heavily and swearing and trying to explain his actions to fellow officers.
The video was made public just days after the Latino officer was acquitted on all counts in the case. Although the squad-car footage was described repeatedly and was shown to jurors in the courtroom, it had never been made public until Tuesday.
The shooting on July 6, 2016, in the Twin Cities suburb of Falcon Heights gained widespread attention because Castile’s girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds, livestreamed its gruesome aftermath on Facebook. Unlike Reynolds’ video, the squad-car video shows the situation’s quick escalation and the shooting itself.
Yanez, who was found not guilty of manslaughter and other charges, began firing only seconds after Castile told the officer he had a gun.
Travis Kalanick stepped down Tuesday as chief executive of Uber, the ride-hailing service that he helped found in 2009 and that he built into a transportation colossus, after a shareholder revolt made it untenable for him to stay on at the company.
Mr. Kalanick’s exit came under pressure after hours of drama involving Uber’s investors, according to two people with knowledge of the situation, who asked to remain anonymous because the details are confidential.
Earlier on Tuesday, five of Uber’s major investors demanded that the chief executive resign immediately. The investors included one of Uber’s biggest shareholders, the venture capital firm Benchmark, which has one of its partners, Bill Gurley, on Uber’s board. The investors made their demand for Mr. Kalanick to step down in a letter delivered to the chief executive while he was in Chicago, said the people with knowledge of the situation.
In the letter, titled “Moving Uber Forward” and obtained by The New York Times, the investors wrote to Mr. Kalanick that he must immediately leave and that the company needed a change in leadership. Mr. Kalanick, 40, consulted with at least one Uber board member and after long discussions with some of the investors, he agreed to step down. He will remain on Uber’s board of directors.
“I love Uber more than anything in the world and at this difficult moment in my personal life I have accepted the investors request to step aside so that Uber can go back to building rather than be distracted with another fight,” Mr. Kalanick said in a statement.
Uber’s board said in a statement that Mr. Kalanick had “always put Uber first” and that his stepping down as chief executive would give the company “room to fully embrace this new chapter in Uber’s history.” An Uber spokesman declined to comment further.
The move caps months of questions over the leadership of Uber, which has become a prime example of Silicon Valley start-up culture gone awry. The company has been exposed this year as having a workplace culture that is rife with sexual harassment and discrimination, and has pushed the envelope in dealing with law enforcement and even partners. That tone was set by Mr. Kalanick, who has aggressively turned the company into the world’s dominant ride-hailing service and upended the transportation industry around the globe.
Mr. Kalanick’s troubles began earlier this year after a former Uber engineer detailed what she said was sexual harassment at the company, opening the floodgates for more complaints and spurring internal investigations. In addition, Uber has been dealing with an intellectual property lawsuit from Waymo, the self-driving car business that operates under Google’s parent company, and a federal inquiry into a software tool that Uber used to sidestep some law enforcement.
The Cosby Saga, Pt 4: June 15, 2017 The Jury Deadlock
Excerpt: “NORRISTOWN, Pa. — The jury in the Bill Cosby sexual assault trial is still at an impasse — after some 40 hours of deliberations over four days — but they’re returning Friday for a fifth day of trying to reach a unanimous verdict.
Judge Steven O’Neill sent the seven men and five women of the jury, clearly fatigued, back to the hotel for the night around 9 p.m.; they will return Friday at 9 a.m. to try again.
“Nine o’clock is long enough to be debating for this day,” O’Neill said, as he sent the jurors off.
Then, curiously, the judge and the attorneys had a private meeting. After a few minutes, they and the jury returned to the courtroom. Many of the jurors were frowning.
The judge addressed the panel, saying he did not want to “intrude on deliberations,” but “if there is anything you need me to know, you will let the court know….I just want to be clear where we are right now.” O’Neill, like the jury, appeared tired from another 12-hour day.”
Excerpt: “After 30-plus hours of deliberation, jurors in the Bill Cosby criminal sexual assault trial have been instructed by the judge to try again after telling him Thursday morning that they are deadlocked.
In other words, they cannot come to an agreement on a verdict. And in Cosby’s case, jurors told Judge Steven O’Neill at Montgomery County Courthouse in Norristown, Pa., that they “cannot come to a unanimous consensus on any of the counts.” Cosby is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault in connection with a 2004 encounter with Andrea Constand.
Shortly after reconvening the court upon receiving the jury’s news early Thursday, O’Neill directed them to try again. The news about the deadlock, or lack of consensus, was predicted by some experts as deliberations extended for days.
However, observers also are not surprised by the judge’s latest directions.

Okay folks, this is a dream story and I am asking you to travel into the Dream Universe with me and then leave your comments below. Take this opportunity to hone your Dream interpretation skills and tell me what you think this dream means.
I am going to do all I can to pull this dream together.
I return to my old college campus, Marywood in Scranton PA. They are having an event, a gathering or party or festival or something to that effect. When I arrive, there are a few people gathered around, but I had expected to see many more folks. At some point, it snows very heavily and quickly the ground is covered up to at least 7 inches. We are out side when this happens and though it was not expected everyone seems to simply go indoors without any resistance.
There are two ladies that I end up talking to. They seem to be in some kind of position of authority, or have some type of job on campus, but they are not students.
We strike up a conversation and I tell them how when I attended Marywood, there were 7 black students in the entire school, now there are so many there and even students from Africa.
They seem to be preoccupied but listen to me anyways.
I tell them how we could walk from the Liberal Arts building to Regina Hall on one side and to the freshmen dorm on the other side.
They tell me that Regina Hall is now a shelter for homeless people. I thought that odd that they would put a shelter for homeless people right on campus. Especially since homeless people can have many types of varying issues, from mental health, drug addictions, criminality, etc.
They reassured me that they were secure and that there was no way the homeless people could come over because they had built a strong wall between the two building and sealed off the opening to Regina hall.
At some point in this dream, I go into the Liberal arts building and there I could see the wall. It’s a pale blue but it is really strange. Mainly because there was no wall, when I attended the college before. I gingerly run my hand across the wall, remembering how we used to be able to visit our fellow classmates by just walking thru the Liberal Arts Building to the other building.
I tell the two young ladies that I may have even spent a few months in that building as that is where the sophomores lived before they moved over to Madonna Hall, a building that was reserved for the Juniors and seniors and had been newly renovated, when I was there in the 70’s.
A lot has changed on campus since I was there in the 70’s and my old stories seem to go over their heads, they are a few years younger than me, maybe 20 or 30 years younger., or maybe just 20 years.
I am very familiar with the campus none the less. So they trust that my old story is probably very true but irrelevant at this point.
The dorm on the other side of the Liberal Arts building, Immacculata Hall is totally unfamiliar to me, especially how they have the students crammed into the rooms. Some rooms have 2 and 3 bunk beds stacked on top of one another. I see a few students lying in bed, but they are not sleeping they are just hanging out in their beds, like college kids in dorms do, but it was really strange that they were so cramped into the rooms. I don’t remember us having bunk beds when I was there and thought maybe they do that so they can house more students or something like that.
A little while later, I begin to realize that it’s time for me to return home. And I better hurry before I miss my “bus” or “train”.
One of the two young ladies offers me a job.
“Would you like to work with us?” She asks.
“Wow, I respond, that’s interesting, what would you all want me to do?”
“Well, we keep an eye out on the campus and the students. We don’t have to work to hard, we just walk around and check things out. Since you are so familiar with this campus, it should be easy for you to do this, correct?”
“Sure.”
“We really hadn’t thought of adding another person to our team, but now that you are here and you seem to be familiar wit the surroundings we thought about it and decided that you would be great addition to what we are already doing as a team.”
I am still not quite clear of exactly it is that they want me to do, or even what they saw in me that would make them think I qualified for the job, but heck, I could use some extra money to help pay my rent.
“So, what are the terms of the job, like how long and how much, and what are the hours?” I ask.
I do have responsibilities back home and all, but if they can pay me enough that I could take care of my rent, and other bills, then fine.
“Oh, and would I live on campus or off campus?”
“You would definitely live on campus, we all do, we live right here,”
I wondered if the students knew they were being watched, or if they looked out of place they are a bit older, but then again, the student body demographics range as well. But then I wondered, if the students would notice that these folks were never in any of their classes. They had to be clandestine in whenever they were around and could not come right out and say to the students “Hey, we are watching you.”
The two ladies take me inside of a building and into a small office. There’s another young lady, even younger than them, maybe a grad student or something, but she was very professional and had her books out. She may have been their accountant as she was writing down numbers in a book she took out when we arrived.
One of the young ladies spoke to her as we stood there in her office.
“Listen, I need you to crunch some numbers. We are thinking of hiring this lady to work on our team so she can help us watch the students. Do we have it in our budget to cover another person on the team?”
The lady is sitting at her desk and she turns some pages saying.
“Well, we have three sources from which we can draw money. How much are we paying her?”
Yeah, that was my initial question anyways.
“Well, we need her to work about 6 hours a week for 6 weeks. She can work more, but we don’t want to appear to obvious, with three of us working, we alternate shifts so we won’t be too obvious. She is really familiar with the campus since she lived here before. So, we were thinking 6 hours a week for 6 weeks, should be good.”
That’s a curious amount of hours for a watch detail, I think to myself. How can anybody make a living only working 6 hours a week.
“Excuse me, did I hear you correctly did you say 6 hours a week, or was that six hours a day?
“No, you heard me correctly, we would start with 6 hours a week for 6 weeks, if you can keep a good look out over the campus and report back what you find out in that time, then we may expand your hours but this would be determined by you in the long run.”
That sounded pretty fair, give me a trial run, see if I now my way around and then, increase my hours if I do well, sounds pretty fair, I think to myself. Then the one of the ladies asks the accountant-treasure acting looking lady, do we have the budget for this addition.
They seem to be really strange acting to me at this point.
Not like a security team of folks but some kind of special project thingy or something. They are not very relaxed either but really rigid and super professional like. The lady who is crunching the numbers seems more relaxed although they are standing over her and sorta demanding but gently so, that she hurry up. And I kind of remember, they better hurry up cause I have a bus to catch.
“Well, we have three funds we can draw from to pay her salary of $26,000.00 for her 6 weeks/6 hours per week position.
We have the “……………….” fund. We can take $12,000.00 from there”
I can’t remember what she said in this part of the dream.
“We have the “……………………” fund, we can take $10,000.00 from there.”
I can’t remember that one either.
“And then we have the Seth Rich Fund, we can get the balance from there.”
“Wait, did you say the Seth Rich fund? How can he fund anything, I thought he was killed, shot in the back a few times or something like that. You mean he is still alive and contributing to this fund?”
This is where the dream took a serious turn for me. I am usually lucid in my dreams and my day time and sleep time overlap a lot, so when they said Seth Rich, well I respond with the knowledge of my waking life, I though that that dude was dead so how can he be putting in any money into a fund and why would he, if he were alive, fund a project that has us watching the students on campus? The questions start swirling around in my head and the fact that nobody paid any attention to my question was even more weird. They jus simply agreed with her and were happy she could find the money to pay my salary.
Actually I was kinda happy, I mean, where can you go and work for 6 hours a week for 6 weeks and get paid $26,000.00? And all I gotta do is keep an eye out and watch these students. But look like I ain’t watching them, and have housing and food and all that stuff and be able to pay my rent back home..
It sounded like a really sweet deal, although I am still curious how Seth Rich got in the mix.
I am not sure if this happens in my minds’ eye or if they actually had a picture of him in his flag out fit sitting on the chair, but that is what I see as I am waking up from this dream, thinking, dang, that dude ain’t dead after all. He’s somewhere making money and donating it to a fund to watch the students at Marywood College.
Now, I am a prolific dreamer, I dream all the time, even during my naps that I take whenever I’m sleepy. Ha, I am blessed to be able to do that and I thank the Universe and my guides for that at this point in my life.
My dreams have plots that run in sequence for the most part and are telling me something. I believe they help me to see beyond the veil.
I had watched a few videos on YouTube about this George Webb, Dave Acton, Jason Goodman, Defango debacle that just blew up with “Lift the Veil” saying he believed George and Dave were the same person. But then we had the bomb threat that shut down the Port of Charlestonin South Carolina and got the FBI and Coast guard to evacuate the Maersk Memphis container ship. I had just heard about that before I had this dream. My last thought on this whole thing was that George Webb had hijacked Dave’s YouTube channel and that is why it felt like to LTV that they were the same person. Since Dave wouldn’t show his face in his vids anymore, like he had been seen on Infowars, and all, it was strange to LTV that he would not show his face.
The whole thing blew up with the bomb scare that hit mainstream media where they reported that YouTube conspiracy theorists were behind the scare and named George Webb and Jason Goodman in some of their reports.
Like a bowling ball, going down the alley, all the pins fell!
In this video we take a look at an Educationist from Kampala Uganda, by the name of Professor Lawrence Mukiibi.
Professor Lawrence Mukiibi died abruptly on May 28, 2017 and his death has sent shock waves thru Uganda and some believe that it has impacted on the entire region and maybe the whole of Africa.
He was applauded for his many efforts in establishing Schools and colleges and is attributed to have at least a chain of 7 St. Lawrence Schools. These schools provided stellar educational opportunities for its students, who in some instances received full or partial scholarships.
He was loved by many and respected by even more so his death brought much grief to most who knew him.
However, there was one thing that rocked Kampala even more than his death. And that was the 50 to 100 children who showed up at his funeral claiming that he was their father. It seems that not only was he a prolific school establishment builder but he had the propensity to engage in sexual activities outside of his marriage with many of his female students who in several instances became pregnant and bore children for him.
This caused a shock wave which cause many to engage in damage control as you will see from the articles that I review in this video.

“Cosby Declines to Take Stand; Defense Attorney Delivers 2-Hour Closing Argument”
Excerpt: “NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) — Bill Cosby’s trial raced toward a close Monday, June 12, with his lawyer telling the jury that the comedian and the woman who accuses him of drugging and molesting her were lovers who had enjoyed secret “romantic interludes.”
Declining to take the stand in his own defense, the 79-year-old TV star left it to his attorney to argue that Cosby’s 2004 sexual encounter with Andrea Constand was consensual. Lawyer Brian McMonagle said in his closing argument that while Cosby had been unfaithful to his wife, he didn’t commit a crime.” Source

Seth Rich, Reality Winner and Social Engineering Pt. 1, 2, 3
To me this is all Social engineering at its finest. It is a distraction from what we really need to be focusing on.
In this video I review several online news outlets discussing Reality Winner along with a review of a few YouTube videos pointing to the situation surrounding Seth Rich’s “reported botched robbery.”

NB Commentary: Personally, I don’t think it’s about race. I am sure they will be hard pressed to find a jury that either didn’t hear about the allegations or never heard of Bill Cosby. I mean next to Oprah and Barack Obama, what other internationally known Black person have we heard of coming out of Hollywood especially during those days. Not to mention his TV series and commercials. If anything, folks will be more lenient even tolerant or maybe even disbelieving in the allegations due to his notoriety.
It’s about Hollywood, it’s about being a part of the shenanigans that go on in Hollyweird. It’s about how they chose certain folks to be “Super Stars” and how they exploit them once they agree to being chosen. It’s about the promises that are made to them and what they have to do to still be a part of the game. It’s about the parties, the backroom deals, the wine, women and song. And may I add, drugs and other nefarious goings on that happen in Hollyweird. Eddie Murphy said something to the effect, that it’s hard to get out of Hollywood clean.
Back in the day, much of the stuff that went on in Hollyweird was hidden from the public, nowadays, there are a plethora of articles, documents and YouTube videos that tell the story of what happens in Hollywood. Bill Cosby was chosen to play a role and as long as he played that role, he was able to do whatever he did. I strongly believe he decided he didn’t want to play ball anymore. Not sure what ball they threw his way, but for sure, these folks in Hollyweird make you an offer you can’t refuse.. Or you go down and it’s just that simple. It ain’t about race, it’s about the game. If you are gonna be a player, then you gotta play…. Or else.
Bill Cosby arrives for the second day of jury selection in his sexual assault case at the Allegheny County Courthouse. (AP Photo/Gene J. Puskar)
PITTSBURGH (AP) — With just one Black person seated among the first 11 jurors chosen for Bill Cosby’s sexual assault trial, defense lawyers are crying foul and accusing prosecutors of trying to systematically keep Blacks off the jury.
The lawyers returned to court on Wednesday in Pittsburgh to pick a 12th juror and six alternates. Cosby arrived Wednesday just before 8 a.m.
For now, Judge Steven O’Neill has rejected the race bias argument.
Prosecutors said race was not a factor in their decision to strike two Black women from the panel this week. They said one was a former Pittsburgh police detective who sued the city after she was arrested in a public scandal.
O’Neill pledged to revisit the issue if defense lawyer Brian McMonagle, who had accused prosecutors of “a systematic exclusion of African-Americans,” presented statistical evidence to back that up.
The 100 people summoned to the Allegheny County courthouse for juror consideration so far have included 16 people of color. A new jury pool will be summoned on Wednesday.
The jurors selected on Tuesday included a Black woman who said she knew only “basic information” about the case, a young white man who initially expressed a tendency to believe police and two people who said they don’t read or watch the news.
The jury now consists of seven men and four women — all but one of them white — in a case that Cosby has said may have racial undertones.
The actor-comedian once known as America’s Dad for his beloved portrayal of Dr. Cliff Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” is charged with drugging and molesting a Temple University women’s basketball team manager at his home near Philadelphia in 2004. He has called the encounter consensual. Dozens of other women have made similar accusations against Cosby, 79, but O’Neill is allowing only one of them to testify at the June 5 trial in suburban Philadelphia. The jury from Pittsburgh will be sequestered nearly 300 miles from home.
Cosby, in an interview last week, said race could be a motivating factor in the accusations against him.
“Race plays a role in every trial, but it shouldn’t eclipse … the evidence,” Loyola Law School professor Laurie Levenson said. “This case is frankly more about gender, celebrity, how women are treated [and] Bill Cosby’s credibility. But race may take a more focused perspective because the defense has [raised it] recently.”
The trial will take place in Montgomery County, where Cosby had invited Andrea Constand to his home in 2004. Constand said she went seeking career advice. She said Cosby gave her wine and pills that put her in a stupor before molesting her on his couch. Constand was 30 and dating a woman at the time, while Cosby was 66 and long married to wife Camille. Cosby in sworn testimony has said he put his hand down Constand’s pants but said she did not protest.
Cosby has said he does not expect to testify.
The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are the victims of sexual assault unless they come forward, as Constand has done.
Cosby was arrested Dec. 30, 2015, just days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired. He has pleaded not guilty and remains free on $1 million bail.

NB Commentary: Bill Cosby is about to be back in the news. After a little over a year or so, the media attention will be focused on him once again. Unless of course they give us something else to focus on. Which is quite likely.
I am going to create a video playlist… and hopefully I won’t get too distracted from this project. But I have written several blogs on this topic and I wish to share my thoughts with you on some of the topics that I covered in my blog.
This is a weird adventure for me because I actually met Bill Cosby. In fact, I have never been given to the star mania, but there were a handful of “stars” who derived the allure from me that most others did not, so when I met him, I was overwhelmed and practically became faint. He had become a household word in my life as a young teenager and young adult. He was a black man that I listened to. His comedy albums were something that you cherished.
Back then to even purchase one album was a sign of having some significant income, not too mention having a library of albums by various artist and entertainers.
I grew up around the Red Fox, Richard Pryor and several other “foul” mouthed comedians who were only played at adult parties. It was awesome to listen to a black man, make us laugh and be able to do it in the light and around children and family members.
We would sit on our steps on summer nights and mimic his routine. Most of us had never even seen him in person but we knew his albums by heart and we would sound like him at least.
There was one youth on our block who was so funny, before he started mimicking Cosby, that when he added Cosby to his repertoire, he was even more funny and he kept us laughing till we shed tears and other bodily fluids.
So, it is definitely disheartening to have this man, a superstar in our eyes back then and an icon, AKA America’s dad in the eyes of the more contemporary folk.
The great thing about age is that you were there when it happened. And then again, you find out as you get older, that you were not really there on some levels, particularly if they were covering up and had hidden agendas.
All we knew back then was that he was a black man and he was funny as hell and that he didn’t curse and he talked about his life and family to such a degree that we could all relate to it, especially since we were from Philadelphia.
What we did not is the Hollywood drama. We did not know the shenanigans that went on behind the scenes. We were not privy to the real Cosby and what he had to do to become the “icon” or “America’s Dad”. We did not know any of that. And it is so true today, that many folks have no clue of what happens behind the scenes when it comes to the folks they adore, the stars they emulate and even want to be like. They have no clue as to what has to happen to these stars or even what happened to them before they became entertainers.
Today, we have the Internet. In the 50’s and 60’s we had black and white televisions and lp’s and 45’s. We had one or two papers in the neighborhood. We had Jet Magazine, Sepia and Ebony. There were few publications that catered to the Black community so we got our news from Time, Newsweek, Look and sometimes Reader’s Digest. None of these publications would talk openly about what went on behind the scenes in Hollywood. And if so, it would be inferred or in fiction form. Every once in a while a brave reporter would go deep into a story and tell all, but still those stories were syndicated and only written in certain news outlets and magazines. In those days we had word of mouth or gossip in some cases about the stars, but if it was about someone we favored, we would blow it off as jealousy.
Nowadays, the wealth of information and the ability to gain more and more of it, is sometimes overwhelming, and while you may want to get your hands on it all, it is virtually impossible to do so, so you have to pick and focus and stay focused.
What I wish to do with this video series is discuss the some many tentacles that are part of the Cosby Saga.
I will start with this article from Atlanta Black Star.
Then I want to go to my dream.. I really think that my dream has all the following elements in it.
I will address what folks perceive as racism when Bill Cosby was targeted for the “fall” from grace.
I will give you all a little history on Bill Cosby, his background and how he came into being the “clean” comedian.
I will discuss the “rape” allegations and their implications particularly as it has been such a long time and that the women are coming out now and what media hype it created. I want to talk about the real women and the real “victims” and the reason they may not have said anything when it happened.
I want to address the “Cult of Personality” and how we get caught up in it thinking the person we see on screen is really the person and how we don’t realize they are “actors” playing a role.
I want to talk about his age and career, and what the implications are if convicted or not.
I want to talk about Enis, his son and the mystery still surrounding it.
I hope that I can stay focused enough to get through this all.
I may throw in another video here and there as I make it through this series.

When image trumps ideology: How JFK created the template for the modern presidency
Steven Watts, University of Missouri-Columbia Even at John F. Kennedy’s centennial on May 29, 2017, the 35th president remains an enigma. We still struggle to come to a clear consensus about a leader frozen in time – a man who, in our mind’s eye, is forever young and vigorous, cool and witty.
While historians have portrayed him as everything from a nascent social justice warrior to a proto-Reaganite, his political record actually offers little insight into his legacy. A standard “Cold War liberal,” he endorsed the basic tenets of the New Deal at home and projected a stern, anti-Communist foreign policy. In fact, from an ideological standpoint, he differed little from countless other elected officials in the moderate wing of the Democratic Party or the liberal wing of the Republican Party.
Much greater understanding comes from adopting an altogether different strategy: approaching Kennedy as a cultural figure. From the beginning of his career, JFK’s appeal was always more about image than ideology, the emotions he channeled than the policies he advanced.
Generating an enthusiasm more akin to that of a popular entertainer than a candidate for national office, he was arguably America’s first “modern” president. Many subsequent presidents would follow the template he created, from Republicans Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump to Democrats Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
A cultural icon
JFK pioneered the modern notion of the president as celebrity. The scion of a wealthy family, he became a national figure as a young congressman for his good looks, high-society diversions and status as an “eligible bachelor.”
He hobnobbed with Hollywood actors such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Curtis, hung out with models and befriended singers. He became a fixture in the big national magazines – Life, Look, Time, The Saturday Evening Post – which were more interested in his personal life than his political positions.
Later, Ronald Reagan, the movie actor turned politician, and Donald Trump, the tabloid fixture and star of “The Apprentice,” would translate their celebrity impulses into electoral success. Meanwhile, the saxophone-playing Bill Clinton and the smooth, “no drama” Obama – ever at ease on the talk show circuit – teased out variations of the celebrity role on the Democratic stage.

After Kennedy, it was the candidate with the most celebrity appeal who often triumphed in the presidential sweepstakes.
A master of the media
Kennedy also forged a new path with his skillful utilization of media technology. With his movie-star good looks, understated wit and graceful demeanor, he was a perfect fit for the new medium of television.
He was applauded for his televised speeches at the 1956 Democratic convention, and he later prevailed in the famous television debates of the 1960 presidential election. His televised presidential press conferences became media works of art as he deftly answered complex questions, handled reporters with aplomb and laced his responses with wit, quoting literary figures like the Frenchwoman Madame de Staël.
John F. Kennedy gave the first live televised presidential press conference in history on Jan. 25, 1961. AP
Two decades later, Reagan proved equally adept with television, using his acting skills to convey an earnest patriotism, while the lip-biting Clinton projected the natural empathy and communication skills of a born politician. Obama’s eloquence before the cameras became legendary, while he also became an early adopter of social media to reach and organize his followers.
Finally, JFK reshaped public leadership by exuding a powerful, masculine ideal. As I explore in my book, “JFK and the Masculine Mystique: Sex and Power on the New Frontier,” he emerged in a postwar era colored by mounting concern over the degeneration of the American male. Some blamed the shifting labor market for turning men from independent, manual laborers into corpulent, desk-bound drones within sprawling bureaucracies. Others pointed to suburban abundance for transforming men into diaper-changing denizens of the easy chair and backyard barbecue. And many thought that the advancement of women in the workplace would emasculate their male coworkers.
Enter Jack Kennedy, who promised a bracing revival of American manhood as youthful and vigorous, cool and sophisticated.
In his famous “New Frontier” speech, he announced that “young men are coming to power – men who are not bound by the traditions of the past – young men who can cast off the old slogans and delusions and suspicions.”
In a Sports Illustrated article titled “The Soft American,” he advocated a national physical fitness crusade. He endorsed a tough-minded realism to shape the counterinsurgency strategies that were deployed to combat Communism, and he embraced the buccaneering style of the CIA and the Green Berets. He championed the Mercury Seven astronauts as sturdy, courageous males who ventured out to conquer the new frontier of space.
JFK’s successors adopted many of these same masculine themes. Reagan positioned himself as a manly, tough-minded alternative to a weak, vacillating Jimmy Carter. Clinton presented himself as a pragmatic, assertive, virile young man whose hardscrabble road to success contrasted with the privileged, preppy George H.W. Bush. Obama impressed voters as a vigorous, athletic young man who scrimmaged with college basketball teams – a contrast to the cranky, geriatric John McCain and a stiff, pampered Mitt Romney.
More recently, of course, Trump’s outlandish masculinity appealed to many traditionalists unsettled by a wave of gender confusion, women in combat, weeping millennial “snowflakes” and declining numbers of physically challenging manufacturing jobs in the country’s post-industrial economy. No matter how crudely, the theatrically male businessman promised a remedy.
So as we look back at John F. Kennedy a century after his birth, it seems ever clearer that he ascended the national stage as our first modern president. Removed from an American political tradition of grassroots electioneering, sober-minded experience and bourgeois morality, this youthful, charismatic leader reflected a new political atmosphere that favored celebrity appeal, media savvy and masculine vigor. He was the first American president whose place in the cultural imagination dwarfed his political positions and policies. Just as style made the man with Kennedy, it also remade the American presidency. It continues to do so today.
Are you tired of Racist and/or uninformed people using the line, “Well you all sold your own people into Slavery”? I thought you would be. But NOW you have a weapon… Whenever that comes up, Post this video as a response. Another Truth and Edutainment Production.
America/USA prides itself in being the beacon of light when it comes to human rights and a strong component of protection of its youth and justice for all members of its society. Yet when one looks closely it can be seen that some of these tenants are not held as strongly as one would imagine.
Reading just a few articles on this topic, it appears that there some disparity when it comes to the topic of young people entering marriage. There is a bit of an imbalance when it comes to young people, particularly young women, who, while not old enough to drink, vote or join the military; they can be married as young as 12 years of age in most states across the nation. The law includes a clause, “with exception” which can be enforced in a number of ways.
Unfortunately, many of these marriages present serious problems for the young female, that, under other circumstances can be described as child abuse if the child is home living with their parents.
In A NYTimes article dated OCT. 13, 2015 and written by By FRAIDY REISS
Could there be a link between these young marriages, particularly those happening between young girls between the ages of 12 (sometimes 9 years old) and 16, and pedophilia?
Are we looking at a social justice system that penalizes a young person whose picture cannot appear in the papers due to being a juvenile, but who cannot get support or help from a justice system about various complaints of abuse, due to the fact that she may be underage and married to the offender?
When an underage victim of rape or incest has the right to plead their case in a court of law, how is it that an individual of the same age has no right to testify against her husband who may have violate her in a similar or maybe even more severe fashion?
How is it that a Children’s hospital will address the medical needs of children up to the age of 24. Is not that establishment acknowledging that young people have medical, mental and emotional issues that relegate them to the status of children or underage.
This is a very interesting topic that contains many, many contradictions in its employment with folks on both sides of the aisle.
The Social Justice Experiment video shows the natural response that folks have to the concept of an older man marrying a young girl perhaps decades younger than he, and yet these laws are still on the books throughout the USA and still practiced in other countries around the world. Why doesn’t the reaction of these people get the laws to change?
The Children of this world are at risk on so many levels. We can only hope that people will come to the realization that this is true and do something about it!
Greetings, Peace & Blessings to you, Your family and loved ones.
YouTube is doing its level best to shut me adsense revenues down to a bare minimum by demonetizing my videos one by one. I probably speak on controversial subjects a bit too much for their blood, but I will continue to move forward as I feel Divinely Guided to share my thoughts and views and research with the folks who subscribe to my channel and who visit my channel. I know that I am divinely guided by the Ancestors and Guardians and my Own Inner Light and Voice because of the impact that my little channel has. I am not a victim. I am victorious and YouTube don’t know who they messin’ with! I’m just saying.
Now for the topic of this video. Was the Steve Stephens Event Preparing Us For Something Bigger? There has been a lot of speculation about the Steve Stephens event. Supposedly his family came together to host an open funeral for him this past Saturday, just in case folks thought it was a hoax and he was really NOT dead. Any of you folks out there went to the funeral? How many of you went to the old man’s funeral? One of the things about False Flags is that they have tale-tail signs written all over them. Some of them are so incredulous it makes you wonder why anyone would believe them. Some of them repeat the same staging with:Media reporting over the top:Horrendous details but no real camera footage: Murder weapons used change shape, size and details: If there is video, obvious editing and or obscure rendering to cause even more speculation about how real is real.
Witnesses corroborate stories on one hand then contradict on the others:
Family members of victims are immediately interviewed to keep the narrative fresh in the minds of the public.
Family members of victims show little or no real emotion or grief:
Family members who wear glasses have been exposed for reading a script as it can be seen in the lens of their glasses or as in one case I observed, she actually had the paper in her hand and while looking down at it, exposed it.
Family members are quick to forgive, which I find quite interesting because if you take the time to read the comments under the stories surrounding these events, well, the commenters for the most part are calling for blood, string him up, put him under the jail, etc.
Reports interviewing victims and witnesses in front of a green screen.
Witnesses appear out of nowhere in some instances with a full account of what happened even before the Media/authorities have investigated it.
It’s all over social media, and the MSM is using social media as their source of verifiable info. Catch them making up stuff and they quickly move on to another story, rarely retracting the blunder in their reporting.
Witness and even some family members of the victims become celebrities and/or start non-profits or lawsuits. Interesting.
FBI knew of the so called “terrorist” long before the act took place.
Family members and supporters show up within hours with pics, posters, etc. of the victim, some in pristine condition as if they were made by a professional who works on weekends and after hours.
And last but not least of course, the perpetrator gets to die, kill himself or in rare cases, gets to have a trial which in most cases is a closed trial, away from public scrutiny.
So Dylann Storm Roof gets a trial while Steve Stephens gets to kill himself. But they both paid a visit to a fast food restaurant.
Dylann was taken to Burger King.. by his captors no less, and Steve, well he just road up to the McDonald’s a 1.5hrs drive from Cleveland and ordered a 6 pack of chicken nuggets, no wait, that dude is too big for a six pack, change that to 20 pack nuggets folks, make it more believable.
And let me just add right here for those who really like to look deeper and deeper into these events “The Notion of Snuff Films” and the even more sinister notion of waging bets on them. You can check out Abel Danger’s perspective on “Serco” and the “Snuff Films” angle. In a word, people don’t have to “actually” die, but the films rake in enough revenue for the betters, so who cares?
So we move to the theme of Crisis Actors. Personally, I really think they need to get better actors, cause for sure, dude was horrid in his performance, absolutely horrid! I think his acting is what made this story unbelievable on so many levels more than anything else.
Under this video “WHAT ARE CRISIS ACTORS? WAS STEVE STEPHEN A CRISIS ACTOR?” posted by Wise Minds (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8nbPXb_ypM) Someone commented and I quote this comment..
“We assume 1000’s of people lost their lives because we were told so. If there where no planes and it was all staged controlled demolition then the death toll was probably very low like incidentals they could not account for. Homeless persons as an example. There is good evidence that suggests those buildings where largely hollow that explains the lack of debris. It is also a common practice to remove everything out of buildings before implosion as the stuff in the building can cause the building to come down in a undesirable fashion. Like internal non support walls.
If you follow these so called events where we never see the money shot they always turn the camera or give us the colored bars or the video is so grainy and terrible you can’t make heads or tales of anything. Everything happens just out of sight of the camera. This makes the viewers mind fill in the blanks. Killing real people is a messy affair that could cause real world consequences. These assholes also believe in karma and I guess I have witnessed it myself. They fake it for a number of reasons but I think karma is the big reason it always comes back to bite you in the ass. Easier to fake it. When and if ever caught they can say it’s not our fault you are an idiot that fell for a hoax.”
My Response to this comment is this:
Wow, that’s some interesting concepts on the controlled demolition theory. It needs to be investigated further.
Was there any large amounts of office junk moved out?
Did moving trucks come back and forth in the preceding days. Were businesses in the buildings moved out, I heard some relocated, but enough to minimize the obstruction to the demolition?
However, if no to these questions, or only a minimal displacement then we must look to another theory.
Dustification. Weapons that can turn anything to dust. Judy Wood discusses this and your one statement about removing stuff makes so much sense and truly gives her theory legs.
I think it’s all of the above. They wanted to take building 7 down the same way, but for some reason the invisible plane did not hit that building. But all were wired for demolition and building seven should not have come down at all. It was the newest and most fortified building which Mayor Juliani had a protective fortified bunker at the top. Why did that building disintegrate?
Not sure if they believe in Karma, that’s another hoax they got folks to believe in. They feel protected as long as they do what the overlords tell them. They have been duped as well.
Now there is blow back, what goes around comes around, though. And so, even if they are pranking the people they will and are susceptible to being pranked.
These people live in fear of discovery which is why they spend so much time covering their tracks.
I am convinced this was staged, and in more than one shot. The video of the shooting was not live streamed but later edited. If he was on the run, when and where did he find the time to edit the video?
But all in all the masses are being played, but so are the players. There are even more sinister forces behind it all. The idea is to keep every one in their fear chakra so they are more easily manipulated.
In another comment under the same video:
“I wish we knew what really happened. I keep wondering what really went on in the streets of Cleveland when the Police told everyone to stay inside. It just feels like this is all preparation for something.”
My Response to this comment is this:
People say it’s martial law, but that is already here, it’s been a long time since the police we called civil servants. These events give the cities, towns and states more reason to intensify law enforcement with militarized armored vehicles, munitions and gear. They no longer are trained to see people as someone to protect and serve, but as enemy combatants or civilians, these are military terms they been using for years. It’s intensifying and becoming more common, but this country been under martial law since Lincoln was president.
The idea of government, is the idea of God. What I mean is Government=God to many people. They worship the Flag of their government and expect their government to protect them from threats foreign and domestic. With this in mind they control the perception of the masses of what the government is bequeathed by a higher authority to do in their rolls of governing over the people. It always comes back to this.
Governments rule by creating reasons to fear the lack of their protection, thereby they are legitimate in doing all the things they do that curtail and in some case rescind human rights and privacy. Governments can do to you what others cannot do to you and make you pay for it by issuing a tax levy.
Governments create situations that make you cry out for more government control and power over your life. The ultimate goal of government is to totally disavow any sovereignty that the individual would or could have and give it all to them and then charge you for it. People happily go along with it because Government has created this illusion and has given you a document and/or thousands of unread ones, to prove how much power they have over you and your life.
“Humanity is hard wired to believe in other than self, outside of self, power not contained in self, so the scriptures (propaganda-sorry to say) indoctrinates folks to believe in a power outside of them. It made the Romans rich, it made the Catholic Church rich, and today, it makes the so-called powers that be rich elites who continue to dupe the masses.
Whatever character they need to use to demonize (Bin Laden) or glorify (celebrities) we have the same story going on, the story of good and evil, savior and saved, lost and found. So for real, it does not matter if Jesus is real or contrived… what matters is the power this Archetype has had in taking away the “PERSONAL POWER” of humanity, or anyone who believes in him. It enslaves humanity and ties a yoke of perceived and fabricated freedom predicated on what… SOMEBODY ELSE DID FOR YOU!
It props up governments worldwide, who take care of their citizens, instead of societies where citizens take care of themselves. It’s the age old plan of keeping the slaves in check through the use of false hope in that which is outside, thus losing connection to the true divine self that lies within. It creates martyrs, pacifist, abusers and dictators. When humanity finally wakes up from its slumber, hypnosis and amnesia, there will be a whole lot of shaking going on that will reverberate throughout the entire Universe.”

THIS IS WHAT GOD SAID TO ME ABOUT THE YOUTUBE CRISIS, CHANGE AND LOSS
People are going back and forth about this Comey situation. I did a reading on it a while back so if you check my video, “Why Did Comey Close the 2nd FBI Investigation? Ask A Psychic. You will see how all this and so much more is playing out. It’s all political theater. Politicians are actors who never made it to Hollyweird.
These are some interesting times.
It was stated by someone, and I quote…
“Too many people, who appear to be waking up still think that politics is the best way to life. From the first day that a human can absorb information, it is indoctrinated they have and need masters (teachers, police, priest & politicians). As soon as the awake people also wake up to the fact, that a ruling class is bad for society, things will start to change.” Anonymous
It’s the conundrum of human history. Particularly when you look at the notion of Empire. Modern day empire building manifests as the industrial revolution, but it really boils down to the concept of scarcity, fear of scarcity and then the need for a ruling class to protect everyone from scarcity. In their back rooms and dark halls, the ruling class had to figure out a way to remain the ruling “men behind the curtain” so they invented the notion of scarcity, on an abundant planet, and while they fill their coffers with more than they could ever use or need, and all the rest follows.
Humans, particularly the industrialized human, have the propensity to applaud their rulers no matter how they rule “Stockholm Syndrome” just as long as they promise to arrest their fears. They willingly give up their sovereignty to some external, much bigger, much more powerful force, to protect them and keep them from harm.
Meanwhile, cognitive dissonance is in full swing, as they look around at the failing economy, loss of jobs, horrendous war games, loss of life, health care, etc. which all equal loss of security, yet, the love relationship they have with leadership, i.e., the ruling class, is so pervasive it blinds them to the fact that they are no better off and that the ruling class are blood suckers who have no care for them. The voter will continue to vote against his/her interest for just a sliver of that promise pie, while the ruling class own the pie factory.
The deeper question is, why is humanity susceptible to being duped in this fashion, over and over again?
It appears that “Trump” was an even bigger Psyops than Obama. People actually believe there was a strong populous movement headed by a Billionaire? Even that makes no sense. But, because he was a cantankerous Billionaire, they thought he would be different?
Trump was a bigger Psyops than Obama because he had even the folks who were beginning to distrust the system altogether, get behind him. He pulled folks in from the left, right and center.
He has completely disappointed his base, yet they feverishly hold on to hope. As their hope disappears, it will create a tremendous mental dystopia and the masses who believed in him will join the ones “shouting” NOT MY PRESIDENT, and the populous movement will disintegrate like a morning fog.
Lack of faith in the government could lead to even more unrest and even more need for militarize police all over the country. Society will disintegrate into warring factions among themselves and the outcome will be as it always has been. The ruling class remain in power handing out slivers of pie to the fewer and fewer numbers of humans that are left after destroying them from the inside out.
It is written in the stars, Empires rise and fall over the millennia, however the Empire wheel keeps turning. Why do humans need empires is my question.
Why Is Humanity Susceptible to Building Empires?

The Dems may want to tar and feather Trump for firing Comey. But they keep missing the elephant, the big huge elephant in the room. This is not about the dems vs the Reps, it’s about pedos not wanting their crap to be uncovered. The in fighting is just a smoke screen. Do you realize that they fight each other in public and sleep with each other after dark?
Wake up people, there’s no saving this corrupt system.
Pedophiles are running for cover. What Comey found out will bring even Trump down and it ain’t no Russian BS. How many times has the US interfered in elections, (Homeland Security interfered in US elections) overthrown governments, set up puppets who are allied with the US and NATO?
#Iraq #Haiti #Egypt #Honduras #Venezuela just to name a few.
Come on people!
Remember, Hillary sold 20% of US uranium reserves to Russia. So what’s the hype about Trump or anyone in his inner circle relating to the Russians? Why are these people trying to suggest Russian involvement in US elections when their track record is glaringly obvious of their collusion and interference around the globe? It’s the pot calling the kettle black!
We got, Hillary and Trump hobnobbing with the Saudis but so did Bush. The Saudi government, those guys, who just got Elected by the United Nations to Women’s Rights Commission DESPITE THAT COUNTRY’S APPALLING RECORD ON THE TREATMENT OF WOMEN. This shows you the “world” collusion and moral bankruptcy.
It ain’t about parties, it’s about world dominion, power and control for the psychopaths that run this world.
FYI, the Trump family is featured in the Jeffrey Epstein Blackbook, which indicates they knew a little bit about his lifestyle.
The Trump presidency is a psyops almost bigger than the Obama one was. In fact, Trump IS Obama’s 3rd term. He’s a puppet. He don’t know nothing from nothing, which makes him even easier to be manipulated by the globalist. He has no resistance, he’s a naive narcissistic, touch off. Don’t even think that bringing him down will change anything. It won’t!
Check it out, there’s a huge elephant in the room people!
So folks think that Comey should have been fired since he did not suggest that Hillary be prosecuted for her crimes. SO, good-bye Comey, you didn’t do your job.
But if you people think that Trump is going to hire someone who will prosecute her, you are sadly mistaken. She will not go to jail!
They haven’t forgotten what Hillary said, “If I go down, I am taking everyone with me.” and she wasn’t playing. In order to get to the top, you have to swim in some slime, become slime and then throw slime. All of them are complicit in some way and all of them think they are above the law.
There is no honesty among thieves so they all got to watch their backs, can’t keep their eyes closed to long and eliminate ALL threats. The United States government is a mafia, a criminal cabal, crooks thieves and robbers, and folks keep voting for them, thinking something will change, and it won’t. History should tell us that much.
The other thing that I think is sorely missed is that, usually, the VP is the President’s Handler. Think about it.. they tend to be more of a power broker from the sidelines. We hardly ever heard of Biden except here and there, Obama was the front man, same with Bush and Chaney. they got it all set up, and like Bush said “Oh, I’m not gonna lose.” so whatever they got to do, they will do and have done it. It’s just easier to see it now with the Internet, and if they have their way, they will figure out a way to silence it.
The whole “Alt-Right” and “fake news” meme was the beginning of a paradigm shift from allowing certain information to find its way to the web.
Censorship began, Twitter shut down accounts, Facebook, in addition to its already sending folks to Facebook jail; hired people to filter out so called “fake news”, reddit shut down accounts or deactivated certain sub-reddits and now, under the guise of Advertiser pressure, YouTube/Google is doing its part to silence the masses.
I ain’t even about free speech, you can’t have it on someone else’s platform. It’s a privilege to be able to speak your mind on someone else’s platform, but, it’s discouraging enough to make people self censor or go somewhere else.
The idea is to silence dissent, wherever they find it; and to keep the secret, secret, and at all costs.
Our world is governed by Psychopathic Megalomaniacs who intend on staying in power no matter what.
So to conclude, American voter, as long as you enable your government it will continue to abuse you.
I want to talk a bit about the notion that YouTube is demonetizing videos on their platform.
When I started this project, a few days ago, what came to mind most was, why?
I really didn’t have any idea how deep the rabbit hole would be. I searched the investors of Patreon and the Investors of Google (Al Gore?) and the investors of YouTube.
In actuality, YouTube was taken over by Google in 2006. I didn’t join YouTube till 2009, but I had watched some of the videos. The platform was truly archaic compared to what we have now, and certainly the ads were not flying all over the place back then.
I still believe that everyone in this venture YouTube, Google (Alphabet), PayPal and Patreon are in the same pocket when it comes to their investors. So it would stand to reason they have some complimentary goals as well as major support for and from one another.
Angel Investors are particularly interesting as they can have or gain full reign of your business because they are very, very wealthy and are investing their own cash and/or assets. Looking at the investors of these companies, Angels are all over the place.
This topic is too involved and much more than my talents can review with precision accuracy, but I think it’s important to note that we are not simply dealing with YouTube, we are dealing with Google (Alphabet), PayPal, and Patreon that have a symbiotic relationship with each other and are not necessarily thinking of ways to make the little guy YouTube Creator smile. They are looking for huge returns on their investments! Period! If advertisers are pulling out, that’s a red flag and investors may jump ship!
YouTube Grew so fast, Google had to get a piece of the action and within little over 2 years, Google bought YouTube! Since Google was and is the ad giant, NBC, was moved into the host of other advertisers and was no longer the main source of advertising for YouTube.
But now, Google/YouTube is in panic mode with advertisers pulling out left and right. They are afraid that the current climate around “fake news”, hate speech, terrorism, etc. may be broadcasted via YouTube with their ads attached. They don’t want it.
Here’s a list of some of the biggest advertisers who have stopped their spending with Google and YouTube.
As a result, Google/YouTube has come down hard on all Creators and in some ways indiscriminately though they claim to be manually reviewing videos in addition to adjusting their algorithms.
YouTube is a big part of Google revenues but when you compare it to the other options Google has as a search engine, it’s primary role, and with competition coming in from other Video sites, it’s possible that Google may simply go on this bumpy ride for a while and settle with being somewhere not so close to the top when it comes to a video platform.
It is competing with 75 others and has had its hayday. Bringing in YouTube Red, and streaming TV programs may keep hope alive for YouTube but the regular content creators with smaller pockets will have to be a bit more creative or may get squeezed out altogether.
YouTube had, in the past a couple of options for YouTube Creators to get financial support for their videos. This was happening before they actually went all the way with monetizing videos.
They had “Fan Funding” Which they discontinued Feb. 28, 2017,
They went on to offer “SuperChat,” which works particularly well for live streamers. “here a fan can pay for their comment to be at the top of the list of comments and the Streamer would reap the rewards.” Not too sure how well that will work out over the long haul.
They also had YouTube Contributor option, where you basically paid for ads to “not” show up on your vids but where “customers choose to pay web publishers for their content through Google-Ad network rather than deprive the Publishers of income from advertisements.”
In all actuality, they have the absolute right to do demonetize videos, whenever they choose since they are providing the platform and providing it for free. With 400 vides/minute it has to be a daunting task to catch them all. So, like back in the day, if one person in class acts up, everybody in the class gets punished.
Yep, we are complaining and we actually think it has something to do with free speech but not really. People tend to paint the “Free Speech” brush a bit far.
With YouTube needing to be bailed out due to Copyright issues, even the “Fair Use Claims” are negligible. Channels are still getting hit hard!
It’s sorta like this, in my house I ask folks I invite into my house to remove their shoes, if they refuse, well, since it’s my house I have the choice of allowing them in or blocking them from coming in. After all it’s my house.
Same thing with YouTube.
On the other hand, say, you got a partner who gives you all the loving you want.. if you know what I mean, then all of a sudden and without warning, the loving dries up. You have had this symbiotic relationship with this person, it was understood that they would deliver, and now, they are reneging. But the bottom line is this, they can! And that’s the deal with this YouTube demonetizing vids and shutting down channels left and right.
They Can! Why? Because it’s theirs.
Now we got several options, and personally I think YouTube is gonna regret bending under the pressure of their advertisers. In fact, I think even the advertisers are gonna feel the pinch because even though there is enough junk out there to keep people distracted, there are really a lot of folks who want to learn something new, about other stuff than junk. Some people really want to get a wrinkle in their brain. Not to mention the many creative content makers who make brilliant videos with outstanding content! And, since the way YouTube goes about determining what is or is not ad friendly, is so vague and broad, you make a video and ain’t no telling whether or not it’s gonna pass the acid test.
But we as creators really do have options. And maybe our co-dependent relationship on YouTube needs to change or even stop in some cases although, if you are streaming videos from your YouTube channel to other platforms, well, you’re still keeping the lines of communications open, sorta like the whole, “let’s be friends” after a break-up when it really means, just in case it don’t work out that maybe we could jump back into the mix again, if you follow me.
Several things are happening with this change.
First, it is censorship. We can dance around it or say it isn’t so “Joe” but it is.
And the genius of it all, is that it will not be blatant in your face censorship, like shutting down channels or grabbing vids of channels, not that they stopped doing that either, but, they have done the insidious, tightening of the purse string censorship.
Like in a relationship.. the one who has the money can open and close that “pocketbook” if you follow my drift. So, instead of coming straight at you, they take the passive aggressive way of scaring the shit out of you, cause you never know. It’s 3 days later and a hundred hours of editing later, and you get the knock at the door..
“You have been issued a warrant, we will be arresting your revenues, your video sucks, well not exactly, we suck, well not exactly, our advertisers suck, well maybe not, but anyways, we will fall the way of MySpace if we don’t tow the line. So, we can’t put ads on your videos. Listen, you ain’t the only one who suffers from purse-string madness. So grow up and get over it and next time, be careful, is all.”
Now, folks can go through the changes of starting their own YouTube Platform. yeah, fat chance on that one. Remember, YouTube was out there, with it’s initial creators, Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim, when they worked for PayPal. Regular folks coming up with a brilliant idea in February 14, 2005. And then Google started sniffing around. Next thing you know, Google gave them an offer they couldn’t refuse, $1.65 Billion dollars in stock. By November 13, 2006, good ole YouTube is owned by Google and we all know what that means.
But we had hope.. we really did.
And we had smooth sailing for a little while…. then it started, politics, economics, politics, economics and politics and economics some more.
I remember when you could work with YouTube in a partnership capacity where you could get “special” annuities if you ran your own ads on your videos or ran ads on other peoples vids etc. Great Idea, till the corporations stepped in.
Oh Lord, talk about big brother.. well not quite so big but scary big enough anyways.
Then eventually, the ads were like the ones you see on TV. And they spend a lot of money making them ads, let me tell you.
Then came Patreon. In May, 2013 Jack Conte, a popular YouTube artist, founded Patreon.
“Harkening back to old-school patronage, Patreon enables fans and sponsors to support artists and creators. Patrons pledge to support artists and creators on a reoccurring basis for each work created, empowering a new generation of creators the ability to make a living off of their passions.” https://angel.co/patreon
Now Patreon is cool to a point, but you have to put in a lot of work to make it happen, and if you don’t have at least 10 thousand subs on YouTube, forget it. Besides, Patreon streams from YouTube so if at any time YouTube decides to pull your video or copyright strike it, what can you do, you cannot upload to Patreon any vids.
Now when it first came out, in 2013, it was kind of clandestine about getting in the mix. In my mind, all I could think of is why would YouTube allow a Platform to gain more notoriety if it meant it would be taking its viewers away from its site. You follow me? Why would YouTube, bring a tall dark and handsome dude to a date when they look like a nerd and expect you to be still attracted to them, I’m just saying.
So I began to wonder if in fact YouTube and Patreon had made some back room deal. Something along the line of, well as long as you don’t allow up loads. But is YouTube and Patreon really that separate from one another.
Think about it, folks actually think they are waking up. Folks are making more and more visits to channels that address some serious issues because they wanna wake up, or at least take shorter naps.
YouTube was gonna start losing viewers anyways. Some people have ad block because quite frankly, they are waking up and don’t want to be disturbed by the tripe that some of those ads have.
So, what if YouTube was thinking ahead, or let’s say Google was thinking ahead and since they are in the AD world, they know how it works.. Why not have a what appears to be “not ad friendly” platform and make people pay for it. You see?
Patreon is “not ad friendly”.
Patreon is into tithing so to speak cause folks gotta pay outa pocket not to mention, they have to sign up in order to do so. Which to me are two strikes against it. Pay outa pocket once a month or whatever and you have to sign up in order to do so. Huh???
Other solutions can be going to other platforms where you can upload your videos and get revenues that way. there ain’t too much competition out there, just yet, but if this keeps up, other platforms will be developed. People will come along to grab the spoils of the YouTube collateral damage and create other platforms that you can upload their videos to.
One interesting thing about YouTube is that all things are in house. You cannot get the email address of your subs directly. So, you have to get your subs to give you their email address so you can let them know when you switch. You can try TubeBuddyand pay for a subscription which offers many tools for YouTube Creators.
Or you can make a video, upload it to YouTube and tell everyone to come where you are now.
Or you can find some other ingenious way, cause YouTube, if it sees folks leaving in droves might snatch your vid down for some unknown reason especially if you have millions of subs.
You can also, just find a more creative way to get your point across. You know, use some of your passive aggressive skills to work around YouTube warriors.
Watch your title, watch your key words, watch your description. Put love, pancakes, strawberries, apple pie and icecream in the description and key words. Avoid anything that will piss them off. in other words “Self Censor” sorta.
Or we can call a YouTube boycott, for one week, no creators create anything, at all! Nothing. Since the advertisers want to boycott YouTube, well, the creators can too.
Ha, that would be awesome, we could “make” YouTube do it our way and fight back by giving them the finger. LOL, that would never happen, we can’t even get folks to boycott Walmart, but I always say, boycotts are winners in any power struggle.
Bottomline, we YouTube creators or shall I say, we video creators have to be more creative in finding ways to get our videos out there and get them funded. But first we must read the terms of service before we sign on the dotted line. And who on God’s green earth is gonna read all that stuff or even understand it, you practically have to hire a lawyer to translate!
Meanwhile the begging campaigns go on and on.
If we sell stuff on our videos, that’s even more work. And a small channel like mine with just a little over 3000 subs, well we don’t even make that much off the adsense anyways.
Unless of course we make videos that are, you know….. non threatening to the advertisers.
We would have to make a whole paradigm shift in our creating to get that pocketbook to open up again. And if we have any integrity.. well we will eventually become more and more disenchanted, hostile and resentful, and after a while, give it up or find something else to do.
All in all, this thing that YouTube is doing will eventually shift YouTube into the twilight zone, not that it ain’t already there, and it will see its viewership decrease, its revenues’ from ads decrease and other competitors grab up the spoils.
Next thing you know, YouTube will go the way of MySpace. But of course, these corporate moguls always have contingency plans. They are gonna push YouTube Red, News outlets and TV shows will start airing their programs on YouTube and the very thing that they were up in arms about and not wanting to advertise will be in their faces. But maybe not so much, because we all know that mainstream media is scripted. So, it will be safer for YouTube in the long run and maybe even more financially lucrative.
Not sure how that would work though, unless YouTube/Google is asking for a cut of the ad revenues from the News Outlets and TV Shows, cause I doubt if advertisers are gonna pay twice for the same display, but who knows.
The fact is they are already advertising on TV programs, and news channels anyways around similar topics, but I think, since they want a piece of the action, their real plan is to squeeze the little guy out of the way so they can get the big dudes in there that will gain them even more revenues.
In a minute, YouTube will replace television and to me, that is the final goal. They see that more and more people are going to YouTube for information and entertainment. They see that more and more folks are streaming YouTube thru their TV’s so why not go all the way? Haven’t you seen that free trial flash across your device?
There was a time when you had to record from the TV and then upload it to YouTube, eventually, it won’t be necessary.
So Google backed YouTube is playing the passive aggressive role of resistance until we comply. If not, then they will go for the tall dark and handsome dude who has a much bigger pocketbook than the average YouTube creator has.
And so that ends my two cents on the matter.
I wonder if YouTube will monetize this video, since I figured out their game plan. We shall see..
“Both ATandT and Verizon may have an ulterior motive to make YouTube look like an untrustworthy spot for marketers because both companies are trying to sell more digital ads in their own networks.”
In this video, we take a look at the circumstances surrounding the import of substandard petroleum into Africa from European Countries, the impact of the use of this fuel on the health and well being of the population in Africa, particularly West Africa, the efforts put forth by “Public Eye” as Swiss NGO and the cooperation of African Countries among themselves to establish changes in the standards of fuel allowed to be used.
We look at the growing populations, traffic congestion, political and health, implications, and how tougher regulations can and should be implemented.
